Ssn application Offices in maryland k1 visa

I recently processed my ssn in Glen burnie office maryland state. They took all ny requirements and the officer who is the manager told me that it will take 4-6weeks to process my application because verification needs to be done by DHS first, she is not sure also as k1 we are non immigrant visa so we are not eligible for an ssn.

I am checking my case status in SAVE like after few days it changed already to Case returned to Agency. I follow up my case in our local ssa office about my application and everyone keeps on telling me that still under DHS pending for verification

Feb 9- it was 6 weeks already from my application and the guy whom i talked to was able to access the SAVE and told me there was a 'mismatch' but did not specifically mentioned what is it. He asks if I filed for a green card or am i really k1 visa and not with permanent resident visa. I told him all the documents i submitted in their office during my application was my i94 with k1 visa written there, visa stamp on passport k1 visa as well. He told me he will try to send retry for initial verification and after we spoke, i checked the SAVE and i have 2 cases already both dates FEB 9, one was case returned to agency and one case under review with max 6days left just like a new one.

Feb 12- I called back again today because I saw that both cases are now case returned to agency and spoke to the field manager and told me she cannot access the SAVE right now and they still did not receive any notification regarding my verification. She told to just wait because we cannot do anything right now.

I am worried that my i94 will expire on march 23 and wait like forever with an answer 'pending' for verification from DHS. Can anyone suggest what is the best thing I can do? Can anyone suggest any ssa offices here in maryland who can handle k1 visa applying for ssn?

Thanks so much.
