Congratulations, well done!

Did you file any 'outside of normal processing time' inquiries with the USCIS?

Our NOA 1 is February 25th 2021 and we're still waiting. We've filled two inquiries so far and both times they said our case would be adjudicated within 45 days. We're currently processing a congressional inquiry so that will hopefully help.

The frustration is real, but we're trying to stay positive!

Finally got approved 45 days after our RFE!! What happens now? What are the next steps? Congratulations to everyone and good luck to everyone!

Congrats. Make sure to update your timeline! Next thing is to call the NVC for your case number in about a month.

Congrats to all the recent approvals!

It's been a while since I posted an updated on the spreadsheet. Those of us working on keeping it updated (me, my fiancé, and Benny) have slowed down in recent weeks. It's a fairly big time suck. That said, I've just gone through and updated for probably the last time.

We're at 92.3% "processed." There's about 150 that have not been touched yet and another 394 in some stage of RFE

To those still waiting, I'm sorry and I hope you have a response soon. To those of you with approvals I wish you all luck with the next steps!

Hello everyone !

First of all happy new year! My name is Rayan and I am currently under processing of a K1 VISA with my fiancée Amy (NOA1 on May 13th 2021), still waiting for the NOA2.

I had some questions about the next steps of the processing:

- My American fiancée is still studying and works part-time. Thus, she doesn’t have enough income per year to sponsor me. Her uncle will therefore sponsor me. We were wondering if he will have to fill out the Affidavit of Support I-134 or I-864 (or maybe both of them ?)

- I also saw that they will ask me a medical exam at my interview. Do you know which doctor I have to see in order to get that envelope (I guess in Paris) ? When is the best time to take the appointment ?

- I saw that they will also ask me for my Police Report of every country I visited for at least 6 months (Is that what we call in France "extrait de casier judiciaire" ?) I have been in the US for about 7 months (J1 VISA - Trainee) in 2020 and I also studied for about 6 months in the UK. Should I therefore request the police report form both of these countries ? (with apostille?)

Thank you very much for your support. Very much appreciated!

I wish the best to everyone and especially to all separated couples waiting for their VISA's !

Hello Ryan! if your a May filer, its best to post this in the May discussion. To answer your questions:

1. Your fiancé and uncle will have to fill out the 1-134 for K1 interview. The I-864 is for AOS

2. The embassy will provide you with a list of doctors for the medical exam when you are at the interview stage.

3. You will not need to request a police report from the US. You will  need a police report from UK.

yep, everything except the ombudsman since it states you cant contact them if you have made a congressial inquiry in the past 30 days which we did on dec 2😢 so we have to wait until january to contact ombudsman. :( for the inquiries we got the same exact response:

'According to our records, your Form I-129F petition is assigned to an officer and under active review. While we are unable to project a specific date a decision will be rendered in your case, new correspondence can be expected shortly'

really not sure what shortly means for them because we did the first inquiry in october...

I just get more and more angry every single days, and before i used to love coming here on visajourney to read other peoples stories etc, but now sadly it really triggers me coming on here, so I limit it to 1-2 times a week. any of you feel the same?

Hey, when did you receive the second inquiry  response  ? Thanks

We got the exact same answer as in the first inquiry though and nothing happened after that! about a month after the congressial inquiry we got approved though! not sure if that was the reason though, but cannot hurt :)

Hey guys, thought I would post to see how other pending February fillers are doing.

Our NOA 1 is February 25th 2021 and our case has still not been adjudicated. We have filed two 'outside of normal processing' enquiries, which USCIS responded to us both times that our case would be adjudicated within 45 days. As this has still not happened we filed a congressional enquiry a couple of weeks ago, which we have still not heard anything back.

To say that we're frustrated is an understatement! We are praying for an adjudication as we're seeing March/April fillers get their answer, but January/February cases have not been fully completed.
