Hi, my fiance received the below response from USCIS on 12/17. We have been waiting for almost 300 days! I am going crazy... Has anyone received the similar response and got approved?

 

'Your case is currently being adjudicated. You should receive a notice of action within 60 days.'

I received a similar response but mine said 45 days. I got my approval in 46 days. This is good news. They are working on your case now.

From your timeline....your case was received 24th of march 2021

 

Are you sure that is correct???

 

From your receipt number on the tracker ..when does it say your case was received

Hi, my case was received on 2/25 but we received NOA1 on 3/24 (Received Date: 2/25 and Notice Date: 3/24).

So your timeline should be 2/25 NOA-1.

It’s so quiet here and on FB today! I was hoping to see a bunch of people posting their approvals. I’m a 3/3 filer (at 292 days now), so I really wanted to be one of those posting!

 

I just checked the 1,000 case range surrounding mine (58000-59000). I didn’t see a single approval!! Hopefully, I just missed them or the tracker app is having issues and not showing them.
 

I’m curious if you all are seeing the same thing. Were there any approvals today?

It was an absolutely brutal processing day. These cases just simply aren't being looked at anymore - I saw like maybe 10 tops after 59000, but that's it. There's seriously no way to alert anyone to this? It's literally only getting worse.

Oops! I meant to post in March, not February. 
 

You’re totally right though. It definitely seems to be getting worse. I think I’m just going to assume that it’s not happening this month. A few months ago I thought we could potentially be getting ready for an interview in February. I was way off. So frustrating!

Yes, that was my assumption from the beginning - I mean, the people who got their approvals earlier this month from our group still can have February in sight honestly, it's certainly possible depending on the embassy. But processing like 10 March cases today is just... what? The vast, vast majority of February is done or waiting on RFEs. There's no way I-129F doesn't take over a year by the time March finishes, we've continuously said that's contingent on them picking up pace but only the opposite has happened.

 

Sad, really. To quote a famous food reviewer, "my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined."

yep, everything except the ombudsman since it states you cant contact them if you have made a congressial inquiry in the past 30 days which we did on dec 2😢 so we have to wait until january to contact ombudsman.  for the inquiries we got the same exact response:

 

'According to our records, your Form I-129F petition is assigned to an officer and under active review. While we are unable to project a specific date a decision will be rendered in your case, new correspondence can be expected shortly' 

 

really not sure what shortly means for them because we did the first inquiry in october...

I just get more and more angry every single days, and before i used to love coming here on visajourney to read other peoples stories etc, but now sadly it really triggers me coming on here, so I limit it to 1-2 times a week. any of you feel the same?

Hi, I checked 1000 cases around mine (55000-56000), I saw a few approvals... Have you already sent two outside normal processing time inquiries to USCIS?

Hi all,

I was a lurker, but I had to share this information so I just created an account.

I am a K1 Visa filer waiting for NOA2.

NOA1 Received date 25FEB, Notice Date 13MAR

 

I looked up receipt numbers around mine, and turns out that three cases (blue and red in the table below, red one is mine) which had received date of 25FEB haven't been processed, while the rest of the cases in that surrounded date have been approved

Even the K1 case which is more than 500 numbers ahead of mine have been approved.

This is really frustrating me! Has anyone been/seen such situation before?  

 

Below are all the K1 Visa cases I checked. For privacy purposes, I am not showing the case numbers, only showing how far apart they are from mine (shown in the first column).

Wow that's lots of work on the table. I'm glad I am not the only one checking the cases before and after mine. 

I agree... Super frustrated and going crazy. My NOA1 was Jan 29 , received Mar 13. Still waiting... no end in sight.

Meanwhile, I have also 

- submitted the Outside Normal Processing Time inquiry

- called USCIS

- asked my district Congressman to help me out

 

...but still there is no progress on my file. Maybe because I did most of them after Thanksgiving, so maybe the employees are in holiday mood or on vacation. But I really really hope I hear back from at least one of them in early January
