I think 19th but I filed from thailand so the time like 12 hours ahead. I should just wait another 1 day but it let me file outside of processing time so I don’t know now it got mess up I have to wait another 30 days until I can submit again😭😭

Well that sucks! I’m sorry you have to wait again 😭😭honestly I don’t think the request even helps them to speed things up. It basically just gives you an inside look of where they are at. That’s what the uscis officer told me yesterday when I called. It doesn’t speed up approval. 🤷🏽‍♀️So may not be worth your time.

Wednesday morning (Nov 3) update:

  • 190 approved in the last week since (and including 10/27)
  • There are over 1,000 cases left to process
  • We're at 47.4% processed or in processing (RFE, Approved, Denied, Withdrawn)
  • Seeing a good amount of "Response to RFE Received" as well as cases approved that had RFEs so that's where some of the effort is going.
  • In terms of dates, we've crept up to Feb 23, but there are obviously large percentages of earlier dates left untouched

Spreadsheet here

Thanks for the update! I can tell you put in a lot of work to provide these and I am grateful! Gives me some hope! My NOA 1 is February 24th :)

Do you think they go back to processing early Feb cases after making some Feb forward progress or they jump to March cases. I am one of those early Feb cases(NOA Feb 1) just over a month and half outside of normal processing. Just trying to learn from earlier months processing patterns.

Unfortunately, if you look at the way they handled November, December, and January (and probably before) once they get to about 40-50% of cases for a month, they move on to the next month. I think we'll see them moving into March soon and then they'll go back and do a few Feb here and there. January still has 8% of cases to do.

Thats good news, certainly frustrating to hear different things from the USCIS. Not sure what to believe now!

Hope she managed to give you some good news :)

Edit: Also just realised we pretty much have the same timeline! Wishing you all the best!

Oh yes we do! She didn’t give any news, we had already submitted an inquiry online so were just seeing if they would say we aren’t out of normal processing time. Last night I got an email with a very generic reply saying they can’t give a timeline. Again, not disputing that it is out of processing time. So stressed about this and hoping for an update soon!

Got an RFE.  I just saw it online so now I gotta wait for it to get here in  the mail before I can do anything right?

Still nice to know it's not in limbo

Yup, think you need to wait for it so you can see what you need to send.

I know some people had an issue recieving in the post before so they had to call up to actually get the USCIS to send their RFE electronically.

Updated the Chart today. All days 30+ cases processed and even had back to back weeks of cases being worked on Saturday!

Ignore the Monday 8th Nov due to that not being all cases for today added yet so expect that to be higher next week.

As ever all this can be found on the spreadsheet that Gail and Derrick have linked

Think that would be when they would be processing January's cases mostly. This chart is for Feb cases only.
