I got the RFE today. They need a certified disposition for an arrest I had many years ago. I have the certified disposition and will be mailing in tomorrow.

anyone know how long after I mail it in that the case will be approved?

It means that they haven't looked at your case yet. I submitted an inquiry not too long ago and they said they are currently making an adjudication on my case.

Just got a reply for our Outside Normal Processing Times Request

"On 10/22/2021, you or your representative contacted U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) about your I-129F because you believe your case is outside normal processing times. Below is a summary of what we found and how the issue has been or may be resolved.

Thank you for your inquiry. We recognize your interest in the final adjudication of your pending petition and are aware of the difficulties caused by any delay in processing. We regret we are not able to give you a timeframe for when we will review your case but the California Service Center is committed to processing this workload. We will be making every effort to adjudicate your case in the most efficient manner based on our available resources. We appreciate your patience and understanding.

What You Can Do
Please see the "Online Services" below to check the status of your case in the near future. We apologize for the delay.

We hope this information is helpful to you.
"

This makes it sound like they haven't even looked at the case yet :( Kind of wish I had got the default response others were getting.

I sent an inquiry yesterday, received an email stating they will respond to me by Nov 23.

I then called, was able to speak to a rep. I explained that I was contacting them to check on my status as it’s been outside of the normal processing time. I explained my NOA was accepted on 2/22/21, therefore it’s been over 6 months, and according to their website that’s out of normal processing time.
I then was told, don’t go by that date because it was only accepted not processed. I was told to go by 3/20/21 the receipt date as this is when it’s processed. So as of yesterday it’s been 7 months and 1 week. I was told to follow back up within 3 weeks if I don’t here anything, processing time for K1 is 6-8 months.

if this applied to me then they would have said our application is not outside of processing times like others have received when they sent the request. Either way I'll check what our Receipt day is on our NOA1 tonight. I know a lot have been back dated from Feb and March.

They are just trying to save themselves over short staff and mandates. Your NOA-1 is in February and keep trying to inquire about your case.

Exactly , it definitely changes things slightly as far as time frame, and makes a difference. I asked him 3 different times, and told him that I was under the impression how most of us here are (NOA 1 date) is what we count from. He said visa journey people are not USCIS workers and can give misleading information and that we should get clarification from USCIS employees always.

Honestly, I’ll just keep both dates in mind, NOA 1 acceptance and receipt date, for my own sanity.

sent 2/16/21

received/accepted 2/22/21 (NOA 1)

receipt 3/20/21

Yes and according to your timeline your NOA 1 was a few days after mines.
Wish you the best

The USCIS website now states the "estimated time range" for I-129f is 6 to 8 months https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

Definitely let us know what happens during Round 2. I agree fully with J&D that this sounds like 'covering' , because if what the USCIS officer said was correct, how were all of our dates working just fine until now? We know WAC numbers beginning with 5 are processing now, and March appears to start with 6. I find it very odd that suddenly there's new information stating that we've been calculating it wrong the whole time; that would mean that the following things would be simultaneously true: (1) half of the people have actually be adjudicated in seven months; (2) the people that submitted inquiries believing the previous date got responses while they were outside the case range; (3) the February filers now are technically March filers. Based on our data here, perhaps USCIS is trying to delay people submitting inquiries without actually adjusting their expected case range time on the website.

Wow! It doesn't make sense then. That would mean that people who filed in Dec/January and received the notification in March would be in normal processing times? Did you mention about the lockbox delay at time? And what about the date on your Case status on USCIS website? Im really curious about this....

I mean, if that's the case, it would change everything, but again, why was it that some people were able to get responses while still being in the (new) "normal processing time"? Moreover, what doesn't make sense to me is that the December filers waited a long time for their notice, but seemed to be adjudicated exactly at the time we'd expect. My problem is this: for the February filers who are getting responses now, when was their received date versus when was their notice date? If all their notice dates are collectively before March 11, then... perhaps we have our (unfortunate) answer.

But still, this is just one employee saying that. Maybe there was a huge disaster between December-February because of how long it took to process notices, and it got somewhat resolved by late February/March? I'm patiently awaiting the first March member to say something, then we might be able to have a better idea of what's going on.

So where do you get your receipt and recieved date from?

Im guessing recieved is the date on the USCIS website? and the recipt date is on your actual NOA1 you got in the post?
