Friday morning (October 22) update.

Holding steady at about 30 per day this week. At this rate, it'll take 56 days to clear the rest of the month. I know they had done a few in March in one lucky WAC range but I don't think they're really into March yet. And it sounds like there's not much happening in January even though they still have a lot that haven't been done yet so I have no idea what's slowing them down.

We're now at 35% processed/in processing (approved, withdrawn, denied, or RFEd) so it's up ~4% from Tuesday.

How do u submit your case inquiry ..thanks

Processing time

this link right here. Just select I129F and your service center. They’ll have an option for the request.

but as you can see from many posts here that mostly everyone is getting a generic answer.

Just been nosey on the USCIS website and found this! Just shows how much the pandemic has messed things up

If we all applied for I-129F 4 years ago it would have been looked at in 3.6 months! What I would do for those processing times now.....

Interesting that they grabbed a random batch in March, perhaps they’re insistent on keeping the processing dates 6-8 months on the website? I figured they’d push the inquiry date back to account for the low February numbers, but perhaps not. Thank you for your diligence! Do you know which numbers were in the ‘lucky March group’?

They did the same for Feb back in January. And for January back in December! It was mostly Feb 25 for us that got looked at well ahead of schedule. I think the March magic batch is 77000 but you can check on that thread for verification. And yeah, it seems to be a way for them to say the processing times are within 6–8 months.

I have now added a cases processed per day chart, with a moving average of 2 days, to the spreadsheet using the data we keep up to date.

Thought it would be interesting to see the data on it. Seems to have been moving at a steady state. One thing to remember is that as observed some cases are having their approved date updated to a couple of days later so it may skew the data somewhat so take these figures with a pinch of salt. Also these cases are Feb only cases so doesnt include cases from Jan or March that get processed.

Edit: Just realised the moving averages is wrong lol so ignore that for now :P

Thanks for the information!

What happened there, why is it so slow now? Is it because of Covid or vaccination? 😥

Yea I kninda messed it up, the lastest cases are on the left instead of the right so it looks like has time as gone on its gotten worse.

This morning i fixed it to make it look easier to read and got the average working as well so now you can see it reads oldest date on the left and latest day on the right. Hope this clears the confusion up a little!

This is awesome Benny! I had kinda been eyeballing it, but seeing it laid out is interesting. For example, it feels like they've slowed way down but in actual fact they've been processing more consistently in the last week or so. Even so, an average of ~30 per day isn't going to cut it.

And that spike on 9/28 is when I got my NOA2. Need a lot more days like that.
