Do we need to fill out the form for support as we are awaiting our noa2

Depends what support you mean? We was talking about the out of processing times requests. You can find the current date for this here https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/

Be aware though we have had some users have come back from the USCIS when they called because they was within the 8 months rather than the date that's on the website.

Edit: Looks like you applied in March so you still have another month to wait before you can submit this request.

Yea I was thinking the same, but I seem to remember someone earlier in the post say they was advised by their immigration lawyer to wait a few weeks before submitting one?

Not sure if it even does anything submitting that as most the time they just seem to reply with not much information lol

Agreed, I believe it doesn't do much.

Tuesday morning (October 19) update.

It's been slow, as you all know. We're only at 31% approved or RFEd for the whole month of February.

They've been averaging about 30 a day for the last week+ and even though the "out of processing date" is Feb 25 (as of today), they've barely touched anything past 2/12.

  • 2/25: 8% approved or RFEd
  • 2/24: less than 1%
  • 2/23: less than 1%
  • similar numbers back through 2/13
  • 2/12: 40%
  • 2/11: 44%

So yeah, they're really only making solid progress up through 2/12 and through 53499. That's a lot of outside processing time filings happening. In addition, they've barely touched any from the early ranges recently, which seems consistent with what they did in January.

Thanks for all your hard work!
Any reason they are going so slow? I thought with increasing vaccination rates and mandates, the workflow should be getting back to normal.

I  have no idea. I do wonder if there's been some review going on because every day there are quite a few that were processed in the days or weeks previous as though they are being redone. There's been some discussion of that here but no one really knows.

I can't imagine upcoming holidays are playing a role yet but we will see a slow down around Thanksgiving and then Christmas.
