Saturday (Oct 2) update.

  • A bit of a slow day yesterday with only about 22 processed.
  • They are still focusing on the early part of Feb (1–9) so those in the 49000–51999 range
  • The percent processed for those ranges is getting up there so it really seems like they'll start moving on to later WAC ranges soon.
  • About 21% of all Feb cases have been approved or received an RFE so far.

I have a question. In this tracker that you posted the last row of those cases say they are 100% approved. My case falls within that range, I have not received Noa2, should I have already received it? I sent my package in late February but my Noa1 was March 4th.

Ah! Good question. February only has one case in that range and it has an RFE so it's showing 100% of that one case. If a case in any range has a date OTHER than Feb I am not counting it. In the same way, in the 49000 range, if a case is dated January, I am not counting it.

Hope that helps.

Yes, it helps greatly! Thank you. It makes more sense to me now.

Congratulations you must be so happy and relieved. My NOA1 date is also 02/08 I’m still waiting.

Any news yet? You can submit for an inquiry now, all cases received before February 10th!

No, I won’t agree with that. Our case is genuinely easy. No divorces, no kids, no crimes, we put everything in order, checked every box correctly (we have photos of everything we sent and I was reviewing it for past months, we have clear proof we met, clear other proofs. We didn’t put too much stuff in there and yet nothing. And im sure some people who got approved had something a lot heavier than our case. So I’m guessing the only thing that can be a problem is that our embassy is closed

That would be an interesting strategy to not process the closed embassy cases… How would one prove that?

I have NOA1 02/01/2021 and still waiting. Cases before and after me are getting processed. Not sure what the hold up is.

You can officially inquire about this now. Check the case processing times on the USCIS website. It should tell you how to contact your visa center.

So sorry to hear this, I def thought you would be right with me in getting approval since we have the same embassy. I hope you’re able to inquire about it…

Good luck everyone still waiting for NOA2, hoping this will be your week!

I am trying to get familiar with the next steps… is it possible to start to complete the DS-160 as I wait for the number from NVC? There’s and option to save your data and upload it. I am thinking when the case number is obtained I would upload the previously completed DS-160 I saved, and add the case number, then submit it.

Anyone know if I am missing a step there?

Our case for example because I don’t know why else would they ignore us when literally there’s 10 cases surrounding ours that are approved and in the middle there’s ours with “received”. Also, I’m just in so many Russian group chats about k1 and it really seems like whenever someone gets an approval or RFE it’s somehow later then the majority of the same noa1 date. Of course this is just a theory but it may follow the logic that why would they process cases when embassy is closed, they better process ones that can actually go to embassy at some point. (Moscow and usem is just completely closed). No one knows how exactly they process cases so we can just share our tourists and researchers

Inquiring won’t help at all. Never seen that it does anything. If they don’t want to process cases they’ll reply after a month that is still being reviewing and if they want they’ll just take an action
