Packet received on February 9.

I've been watching Case Status Online the last couple of days and, as NeonParticles said, they're tearing through November. I've seen a few from early January and a couple today from December, but most have been November. I saw a lot of November 12 yesterday and a lot of November 24 today. Not sure why there's a scattering of January mixed in although there's speculation on that in some of the earlier monthly subs. I'm hoping they're getting back up to speed and wait times will decrease. I guess the good news is that the NOA1 is getting back-dated to the actual date of receipt.

Good luck everyone! May your wait times be short.

How do you check the case status online? I’ve tried this before but it asks for your specific case number so I must be doing something wrong! Thanks.

There's a couple of posts on this in the November thread, which is where I got all the info from to look them up. All that's needed is a fairly recent number. I used trial and error to find the latest one processed at the end of the day. The next day I started with that number and looked through the ones following and then found the last one assigned that day. The assigned numbers cover all kinds of things, not just I-129F. So, for example, about 182 WAC#s were assigned yesterday, but only a fraction of those were I-129Fs. There appear to be several people on the boards who are doing this for informational purposes - mostly to track which dates seem to be getting processed at any given time. Other people certainly know more about it than I do :)

We sent our package in to the PO box this week and the USPS tracking says it arrived and was "available for pickup" on the 11th.

However, when I look at the tracking information now it says "Status Delivery Attempt: Action Needed Reminder to Schedule Redelivery of your item before February 14, 2021".

Has anyone else seen something like this? Shouldn't it just stay in the lockbox until they eventually get it?

I'm finalizing my packet now to send everything in by next week. I just have a question for you guys. Does my Fiancé need to write out his own letter of our love story? Is it required for the application? I initially just got him to sign a declaration that we intend to marry in 90 days once he gets here, but I'm seeing different places online that he night need to type out his own letter as well. Any help is greatly appreciated 😊. I attached the declaration that I had him sign.

Yes, you should each have your own letter detailing the relationship, meeting in person, and stating intent to marry etc. We saw it as a chance to provide more evidence of the relationship. We made sure to include a statement that we intended to marry within 90 days and all that and kept it to about a page each. He signed and mailed it to me. I don't know how important that was or if a scanned copy of the signed version would have been okay. Everything that I read said this was the way to go. We also included statements from 1 friend and 1 family member each stating knowledge of the relationship, how it grew, and stating they understood our intent to marry. Good luck!

USPS page on redelivery might be helpful: https://faq.usps.com/s/article/Redelivery-The-Basics

I assume since you mailed to the lockbox you didn't have a signature request on it? Did you use the PO box or the courier address for FedEx/UPS etc?

USPS seems to imply delivery failure if the box is full, no one is there to sign, or it can't be left in a secure place. I don't know what the lockbox is physically like so maybe it was full? Hopefully others on here can reassure you.

I sent mine Fedex and delivery failed on the first attempt around 10am and I had a mild freak out but it was redelivered at 1:30 the same day so hopefully they'll redeliver it for you on Tuesday.

Thank you so much for your answer, I'll have him write out the letter right away so that I can include it in the packet.

Thanks for the link! I'm hoping that is what will happen.

I sent it to the P0 box although now I'm thinking that was a mistake since I did send it via express priority mail. The wording on what address to choose is a bit confusing on that front.

I do think I checked require a signature but I'd seen others do that same to the P0 box and say it was fine.

I really wish they just let us do the forms online.

The Dallas P.O. Box is correct for USPS deliveries. If you used fedex, ups etc you would send it to the Lewisville lockbox

Yep - USPS goes to the lockbox and courier/Fedex/UPS/DHL goes to the 2501 S State Hwy 121 Bus address. BUT if you sent priority and checked the box for signature they will be trying to get one and maybe that's the problem. But if you've seen other people require a signature and be okay maybe that's not the problem. I hope not. Sorta seems logical to me that if sent to a box that the delivery person would just shrug and leave it. Crossing my fingers for you that they deliver on Tuesday!

There's a thread over in the main channel about USPS and someone who works for USPS said this: "U don't want to add signature on this when you are sending your paperwork because the post office ice hold it for up to 30 if they have no one to sign. I know this I'm a supervisor at the post office." But it does seem like others have checked the box and it's been fine.

Here's the thread: look for the post by Stacy&Kerisha.

Hi so just did a check on case status. I see they are up to December receive date. I saw a couple December 1, 3 and December 8. This could possibly still be some November filers who sent at the end of November and reached USCIS early December.
