If you try go search back on the WAC numbers. It looks like Oct and Nov 2020 filers are getting their NOA2/RFE recently. That's California service center though. So for us we'll probably hear from them around August or October. So I'm praying we get it done within this year.

It really depends on the consulate you are at. If they have a huge backlog, expect everything to be over after a year.

Exactly. Hopefully we qualify to get it expedited though.  We have a USC daughter together waiting for my visa so she can join her daddy and travel in the US.  So we really just need to get an approval/NVC phase.  I know so many people who qualified to get expedited because of the USC baby.  But yea, if we have to wait normal processing at the consulate. It might take a year still.

Not yet.  We can only request to get it expedited once its already on NVC phase.  Manila Embassy. They are so backed up.  We are Feb 2021 filers.

Just found this post! Commenting so I can find it again. We filed on 23rd Feb and got our NOA1 on 1st April! I though it was an april fools by my partner when she told me it had come haha. The wait is driving me insane. Hoping the UK embasy will clear its backlog by the time it gets around to us.

congrats!! Due to the backlog, your noa-1 should be the "received date" in your timeline. im sure that was sometime in feb?

Ohhh goood point, I thought the date you put down was the one where you physically got the notice haha. According to the case tracker on the USCIS NOA1 date is 26th Feb! Thanks for clarifying :)

Yes NOA-1 is the notice date. But USCIS goes by "received date" and not NOA-1 date.

Hi everyone! Another February filler over here 👋 🙂. I'm currently living in Spain but the embassy in Chile will process the last part of our case. How can I know if the have a backlog? Should I call them?

Wishing you all the best during this long, hard process ✌️

Would anyone be able to speculate if we were going to get an RFE that we would have by now? Do RFE's typically go out around the time NOA2s go out? Is there a window for recieving them that we know of?

Yes they go out when an officer is assigned cases in your time frame/receipt time. So when people in your timeline start to get approved you can keep a closer eye

we last saw each other: March 2020
I-129F sent: 12/24/2020

USCIS received: 12/29/2020

NOA1 notice date: 2/27/2021

NOA1 receipt date (backdated): 12/28/2020

NOA2: 08/11/2021

NOA2 paper copy: 08/18/2021

NVC received: 08/25/2021

NVC number issued: 09/01/2021

So I'm a little worried.

My packet was received April 20th. It feels like it's taking too long.
Is our "Evidence" Is going to expire? Because my fiancé and I last saw eachother in person was Jan 6th 2020 and that's when we took some last minute photos together.

ps. God I miss him so much... I wish I was able to travel to the US again to see him...
