👉🏻Hi guys!  My interview for ROC I-751 was scheduled but I only received one letter, my daughter (11 years old) did not receive😞 any letter for interview, if someone with experience similar to this one could share. 
       I already looked for something similar to my case, I found nothing. 🤷🏻‍♀️

She is my dependent in case I-751, she is 11 years old I have my interview letter but she did not receive it .

I have a stepchild that immigrated to the US and I've found very little information on minors in general.

 

First of all, the divorce complicates things. Did you put your daughter on your application? (i.e. did you check YES to "is this child applying with you?" in the Children section of the I-751). How did you originally immigrate to the US? (K1, CR1, etc.)

 

A few possibilities:

1. There is a chance she may not need to interview and the child's ROC will be adjudicated based only on your interview. Minors are sometimes given a pass. Perhaps they also don't want your daughter at the interview since you will be question about your divorce.

2. The interview letter will come later. You'll almost certainly need to accompany her to that interview.

 

I would check with an attorney, specifically one that has experience with children. Since you're not filing the I-751 with your spouse, it may not be a bad idea to have an attorney sit in the interview.
