The question was: what food do you get at the movies?

I put my movie money into a 65" Television and surround sound. "at the movies", for me, is at home.

How about a restaurant with loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong waits that has a waiting room showing old films?

There is one such in downtown Calgary, "The Olde Spaghetti Factory".

Coca-cola light (the equivalent to Coke Zero here) in Brazil, I've never went to the movies here in the States. Not a pop-corn person.

Wha!? You've never been ot the movies here? It's not different or anything, it's just you've been here so long to have not been to the movies!

I usually don't eat anything at the movies, but when I was a kid I used to LOVE junior mints at the movies. A lot of movies from the early- or mid-90s give me the taste of junior mints in my mouth when I see them on TV.

I love movie popcorn but I almost never get it. The memory of how good it is is usually so much better than the actual taste.

Yup, and nachos with cheese, pizza and a few other things that I can't remember. I don't go that often since I tend to rent but when something really good comes out, like Live Free or Die (which I'm seeing tonight), I'll pay the extra $$ to see it on the big screen.

A friend of mine always has to get nachos and cheese when she goes. I think they serve mozarella sticks at the place we go to too.

I have been to some like that as well...but $9 for a normally $5 burger is too much for me.

I love popcorn and chocolate together...mmmmm....

I love to go to the movies....we have a place around here that does all movies $4 on the weekends before 12 even the brand new releases. What a great deal and it is a lot cheaper to have lunch and a movie than dinner and a late movie

I agree the movies are so ridiculously expensive. When you're paying $9 per ticket for an evening movie, plus $10 for popcorn and Cherry Coke it gets to be a lot!

I'm not sure if Dollar Theatres are around in the US- we have lots of them in Canada.

Right before the movies go to Video, they go to the Dollar Theatre. It's only a few bucks to get in.

Honestly? Never do eat at the movies.. I find the prices outrageous

I agree. I never eat because either I'm dieting or I just had dinner before, but I always shamelessly have a can/bottle of coke in my purse and if I want to eat something, it'll probably be a chocolate or those chocolate covered peanuts, and those will also be bought in anticipation for 1/5 of the price.

Coca-cola light (the equivalent to Coke Zero here) in Brazil, I've never went to the movies here in the States. Not a pop-corn person.

Nopes. I like to go to the movies to watch some big production like LODR, where the sound effects really makes a difference than watching it on tv at home. To watch movies like Knocked Up I prefer to buy the dvd and watch it at home, pausing when I want to P, lying comfortably on my bed/couch.
