If you are talking about the US embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan, then I would like to disclose the fact that no interviewers will be entertained/called before the 1st Sep 2021.  The people who has paid the DS160 or DS260 fees and is near to expiry that will be forwarded to a next period.  Note: the above mentioned date may be subjected to change.

Can you please share with me where you had gotten this information from?? I have been trying to get updates on the interview process time.

A friend of mine was DQ'd in April and her husband had his interview last month.  Unless the case is a reaffirmed petition all spouse interviews would be scheduled through NVC so the appointments available online would not play a factor.

Sir, what is the source of infomation about the above mention date 01 Sept 2021. To all my friend just keep in mind that Immigration ban executive order has been extended by Mr. Trump till 31 Mar 2021. Many categories falls under that proclamation and F4 is one of them which is Ban till 31 Mar 2021.

Embassies have a backlog of over 350K visas of 2020, these all are already at the Final Stage and waiting for Interview call. Currently they are working to make  streemline and smooth visa issuance process to get rid of Back log and Current daily burden. like Virtual interview suggestion or No inverview require if nothing needs to ask etc. (As per news)

There is no news so far about if this proclamation will last till Mar or extend by Mr. Biden. In reality, we all are sharing informations as per our sources.

There is no way that Pakistani applicants for immigrant visas will have interviews waived.

I do agree. But i am talking about as whol not just for a specific nation. There may be different ways to handle the situation as per country, visa category etc. I am also at DQ in F4 category and waiting for an interview since Year.
