NVC Working with the U.S. Embassy ISLAMABAD to schedule an interview: Anyone has an idea what is the current status for NVC to schedule an interview. I have not seen any new updates on VISAJourney page from Pakistan. My first NOA1 was on 05/26/2020, Approval received on 01/14/2021. NVC received on 1/17/2021, now DQ ( documentary APPROVED on 02/09/2021) ....just want to know how many of us are on same boat with this current situation. What would be the expected interview date?

Please advise

Thank you for your time.

I got DQ on Feb 2020 it's been 1 year.

Very sad 😥brother. I heard they are working on May 30th, 2020 DQ'ed cases. You have to contact NVC. Your case may be expired due to no action on your case.

If I am not wrong, there is a warning that if you do not stay in touch with NVC about your case, they may consider it inactive case. I suggest you reach out to them ASAP. Hope you get a good answer.

Embassy only working on spouse cases. Category cr1 or ir2

If you are talking about the US embassy in Islamabad, Pakistan, then I would like to disclose the fact that no interviewers will be entertained/called before the 1st Sep 2021.  The people who has paid the DS160 or DS260 fees and is near to expiry that will be forwarded to a next period.  Note: the above mentioned date may be subjected to change.
