What are the odds of SSN application getting rejected

My two SAVE cases of Dec. 30 and Feb 1 were returned to the agency. The representative there still told me my case was pending on DHS. Does anyone know about what's going on?

No, but there seem to be a number of us with this problem right now. We applied on Dec 31, three cases on SAVE say returned to agency. It sounds like they started a manual check, but I've heard nothing back for weeks.

Yeah, what's up with these multiple case checks? I applied on February 23rd. Two cases on SAVE dated February 24th and one case on February 25th - all saying returned to agency.

Got my social security card 10 days after applying at visit to social security office. So apparently the multiple case checks were nothing to worry about.
