I recently had a baby out of wedlock in Africa  My question is how long does it take to receive my baby’s CRBA certificate and the US passport after the interview at the US embassy abroad ? Plz any contribution about my case is highly welcome. thanks .

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!

Sorry to bother you . How did you get your social security number for ur daughter ? I added the social  security forms when I presented the document to the embassy . Do I have to get the social security number from the embassy or here in America? Thanks

The social security number and card will be mailed to you. I am currently in Ghana but my husband recieved it after 3 months in America when we submitted the forms in Accra.
