Hello people!

I am very very desperate and I need answers.. Our K1 petition was approved 307 days ago.. right when Covid hit us.. We've been stuck at the NVC ever since. I am from Germany which means we are included in the ban. But I traveled to Turkey for two weeks and came to visit to the US after. I could have technically get my interview and just travel with my K1 visa over Turkey to the US to get married.. However I just wanted to check if there is ANYTHING I have to do or I can do? I don't want then to "accidentally loose" our paperwork or something since it has been so long..

Marry and adjust status.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Since you asked if there anything you can do, yes; there is something you can do to move your case along.

Join the Milligan v Pompeo lawsuit (the deadline for new plaintiffs is Feb 15) or pursue your own. Consult with an immigration attorney about filing a nandamus action against the State Department. Or see if you can qualify for a National Interest Exemption.

You have options. Unfortunately, as is the case with many things in life, those options greatly depend on how much you are willing to pay.

Thank you a lot. Will consider those options.
