In my opinion the difference you highlight are not that egregious and people have been approved on the first go around with worse situation. Five years difference is absolutely nothing! Even  with the communication issue  there are people who got approved who strictly use an app to communicate. You were just unlucky, don't tear your hair out trying to figure out the machinations of some power tripping consular officer.

Of course without a doubt, the more time you spend together the better. Your excuse about not leaving your child without providing more context likely won't wash. If a person cannot leave their child with a responsible caretaker for a few weeks to spend with a partner they plan to marry, perhaps they are not as committed to the relationship. That might be the consular officers thinking.

If you have a career where you could work remotely, I would say decamp for Egypt for a few months and definitely get an attorney.

Good luck!

Just another random guy from the internet with an opinion, although usually backed by data!

I agree that the points you have quoted are not necessarily grounds for denial. We have seen much bigger age gaps who were approved. And a religious difference is also common.

Is there something else that you have not revealed? Has your husband made previous attempts to get to the US in another capacity (work or student visas, for example, or through another family member such as a sibling)? Have you previously attempted to bring someone else into the country?

I am also curious as to how soon after meeting you got married.

There's most likely a lot more to the story, but also possible the OP doesn't know, or doesn't understand the relevance of certain facts.  That's why professional help is important in cases like this.  Probing questions but somebody who understands the full context from both sides is critical.

Facts are cheap...knowing how to use them is precious...

He's never been outside his country and never attempted to get into the US. None of his family is here, only a distance relative that he has no contact with. I have never filed for anyone else to bring here. But we did marry on the first time I visited which does not look good in the eyes of the embassy.  I admit we should have research this stuff before to know what to expect.

My uncle brought his fiancé here only after visiting her once in person. She was here within 9 months so I didnt think it would be so complicated. But boy I was so wrong.

How many trips before marriage?  How many trips after marriage?  How long for each trip?

Also, how did you guys meet?

We got married on my first visit. I did multiple trips after marriage and stayed for about a couple of months on one trip. We met online.

Take your child with you.

Im so depressed right now. I got the unfortunate email my husband visa has been revoked Im just waiting for the letter to come in the mail on why it was revoked. The embassy sent the case back to the US and I thought I addressed all the rebuttals with evidence in the NOIR  response but I guess that was not good enough for them. I just feel like a failure or maybe just bad luck. We've been waiting for over 3 years for his visa. And with Covid I could not travel last year to see him. My last resort is consulting a lawyer and see what our options are. Anyone else can offer some advice or words of encouragement. The visa situation has been the most stressing situation I have ever dealt with in my life. I never thought it would be so difficult. :(
