Medical Exam 12 months ago but received interview for this month.

So my beneficiary completed the medical test in February 2020 and when he requested the appointment for the interview, the Embassy closed because Covid.  In January  finally was able to secure an interview with the Embassy for next week.  Are they making allowances because of the lock down on the Medical exam now one year old?  Any one has any input?  Thanks

I believe Medical exams were extended for 30 days (total validity of about 7 months).  His medical exam has expired about 5 months ago.  He will need another one.

Senior Master Sergeant, US Air Force- Retired (after 20+ years)- Missile Systems Maintenance & Titan 2 ICBM Launch Crew Duty (200+ Alert tours)

Registered Nurse- Retired- I practiced in the areas of Labor & Delivery, Home Health, Adolescent Psych, & Adult Psych.

IT Professional- Retired- Web Site Design, Hardware Maintenance, Compound Pharmacy Software Trainer, On-site go live support, Database Manager, App Designer.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

In many locations, you need the letter showing the interview was scheduled before you can even do the medical.
