Okay. I think the husband cannot file for the wife mother. Yes, she is a US

The husband is a born US citizen. She got her citizenship through her husband. So, she would be the one to file for the mother. The husband cannot. Thank you.

Ok gotcha, both are USC. She’s concerned because she’s pregnant and not working? Yes she can file and they need to see if they meet the requirements for the number in their household. But being that it’s taking longer, it may still be best to file sooner rather than later if she wants her mom to come in the next couple  of years .

If The Husband makes enough for the household size, at least 4 just based on the info you've given, then he can be a joint sponsor and that's not an issue. But as everyone has said, that part doesn't come until after the i-130 is approved so things might change by then.
