When we got married, my wife (usa citizen) could not take the last name she wanted. I have two last names but she only wanted the first one. We have been delaying it (we just need to go to court) but now we need to do it soon because her passport and other documents are expiring soon, and it makes more sense to change it first.

I need to send my 751 before april, would interfere if my wife changes her last name in the middle of the proccess? Should her put her ''new name'' in the 751i?

No.

She has nothing to do with I-751

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Her name change has nothing to do with the I-751. It would only matter if you were the one changing your name.
