My husband got approved for an interview in Haiti since October and we've been waiting for a  date. Has anyone there have any luck or received an interview date? The website is so vague and says nothing about processing times. I would appreciate any help

This is the process for scheduling spousal interviews.  I assume every consulate has a backlog at NVC.

1. Case is DQ'd by NVC.

2. Case then enters NVC queue for your consulate and waits at NVC.

3. Consulate informs NVC of available interview date for upcoming month.

4. NVC schedules interview when case reaches the front of the queue for that consulate.

5. NVC notifies person of interview date via email.

6. NVC then sends case to consulate.

After the interview is scheduled, it can take several days to several weeks for the consulate to receive the case.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

My husband was scheduled for an interview in March 2020. They told him to provide extra documentation ( affidavit of support ) even though I make over the threshold. He was asked to return documents in 2 weeks but COVID hit and everything was closed. We had the documents ready in 4 days. We also have multiple emails from our lawyer asking where we can drop the documents off.. They never gave us a direct answer only automatic response from embassy. They refused our visa application on 2/19/21. I called the embassy in Haiti and asked why the application was refused. They stated they didn’t have enough documentation to support his case. I explain to them that ALL location were not accepting immigrant visa documents, and my husband was never officially interviewed. Yesterday they sent us an email explaining  DHL are open and accepting documents... I honestly don’t know what to say about the embassy in Haiti, I just know they need to get it together! Just know I filled in 2017 , and were still waiting . Hang in there.

So, this is the new update of the US embassy in Haiti. What exactly do they mean by that?
is K1 considered as family preference visa?

A k1 is not considered a family preference visa

YMMV
