I received email response from Congrassman about IR1 visa adminstrative proccesing

Timeline

We reviewed our consular records and found that Mr. __________'s case is pending the completion of administrative processing to verify their qualifications for a visa

Thus, proving that a visa is not approved until after all administrative processing is completed after the interview.  Hopefully, your AP will be completed soon.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Looking at your past posts you knew you are in AP.

I know they put me in AP my interviewed in july 10 2019 and i was inquiries 4 times to embassy for visa application status they didn't reply me then senator submitted inquiry for status they response this to him back.

Which they did.

 

You must understand that a Congressperson or Senator or lawyer can only ask about the status of your case. They can not influence a decision to be made or ask that it gets completed. Nobody outside of immigration can make them approve or move along a case. All they can do is ask about the status.

 

Hopefully it will be over soon.

My interview was in June 6 2019 ,now we in 2021 still in administrative processing I am from Liberia 😭 on a k visa
