Thrilling Monday report, see man:

Dropped Mini-B. at skool after a traditional first-Two-Guys breakfast of corn dogs, ingest wee man.

Mama T-B. had earlier requested that we grocery-shop for her, arthritic senior she man.

We confirmed list, :girlwerewolf2xn:man.  (Uncle T-B. is polar opposite in particularity, easy senior he man.)

1.  Went to Dollar* Tree to look for 2 items to be bought only there, found one man.

        *now "Dollar-Plus-Half-of-Half-a-Buck Tree

2.  Went to Walmart, rest of list man.  Walmart of course out of their own stuff, grrrr man.

Many.  We were too tired to go to a Many'rd store to save less than a buck, fed-up we man.

Many.  We got all stuff on list, some name-brand man.

Many.  Delivered stuff to Mama T-B., very heavy bag man.

Many.  Mama T-B. yelled at us for getting name-brand stuff, cheap she man.

Many.  Mama T-B. yelled at us for getting a different size, only one available man.

Many.  Mama T-B. demonstrated how to squeeze a nickel till the buffalo bellows, cheap she man.

Many.  As we left, Mama T-B. made us bend down to pick up a piece of leaf débris, easier for her than for us man.

Lunch was a Black Forest sub bought separately at Walmart, overpriced man.

Napped for an hour, decompress we man.

Din-din, see man:

Din-din was nuked-in-the-bag peas & air-fried Aldi "cheese lasagna rolls," ingest we and wee man.

Mini-B. acted as consultant, imperious wee man.

Mini-B. wanted the peas & entree served simultaneously, complex disruptive operation man.

We consulted ex-Mrs.-T-B. for time/temp of air-frying, helpful ex-she man.

We air-fried Many (2+2+2) lasagna rolls for Many minutes at Many degrees F., precise we man.

Messed up 2 compartment paper plates, slop multiple items on man.

Mini-B. approved heartily of the repast, ingest enthusiastically wee man.

He ate all his peas, let there be whirled peas man.

He mooched half a lasagna roll from us, 2 + half for wee man man.

Mini-B. high-Many'd (high-[2+2+1]'d) us after din-din, satisfied wee man.

The juvenile contingent was eminently satiated, texted we to ex-Mrs.-T-B. man.

The reply was "w t f," reply ex-she man.

We wrote, "Mini-B. liked din-din," clarify we man.

Cleaned miu's box, intestinally prolific miu man.

Now to read to & embed Mini-B., bedtime for wee man man.

Apparently if mama-Dave is stuck semi-quarantined with her husband, son (yo), daughter-in-law (PRG), and grandson (mini-Dave), she cooks a lot. 🤣

We'd originally planned to go up to Sequoia with them but canceled that due to snow (apparently several feet of snow fell in the mountains and they were requiring chains on tires). Couldn't cancel rental car (while we can all fit in my sedan, us + luggage for all of us + mini-Dave's stroller for 5+ hours is another matter so we'd rented a big SUV) so dad wanted to go somewhere and we ended up visiting my uncle in Phoenix (hadn't seen them since they were coincidentally in SoCal around when PRG came to 'Murrica so we met up with them the day after we got married). Had a lot of fun, but everyone got sick around when we got back; everyone tested for 'ronas,  only PRG came back positive but figured it was best for parents to stick around a little longer anyway (mini-Dave was over things the quickest, me and PRG in the middle, parents seemed fine on Friday so got on the plane home on Saturday, weren't great again on Sunday, but seem fine now).

But while they were stuck at our place we got baked Alaska, apple betty, Amaretto silk pudding, and an (early for me) birthday German Chocolate Cake ... in addition to the four kinds of Christmas cookies and fudge PRG had made before they got here and the cheesecake she'd made for Christmas day desert.

Also I finally used the sous vide machine we got for a wedding present to cook a tri-tip roast (delivery shopper thought this was a reasonable substitute for tri-tip steaks). Getting things perfectly medium rare all the way through is amazing; will do again. Though next time will steal pan from the Instant Pot; the deepest other pan we had wasn't quite deep enough and needed to lean the thing on an angle.
