AOS interview in five days... I know what to expect, since I went through it before with Husband #1 (aka Voldemort aka Voldy), but the reality of it happening is starting to sink in with Alex. I reminded him that we have gone over and above what is needed to meet all the requirements; we were in that unlucky cohort of people who had to submit an I-944 before they stopped that, and USCIS no longer even looks at it. And they have mountains of financial information from us showing how we've entwined our lives. Adjusting from a work visa, where we were able to live together well before we got married, certainly made it easier to show this. I keep reminding him of this but he's getting nervous.

I see this as just another hurdle to climb over. We've known each other for nearly half our lives, been a couple for four years, lived together for two and married for one. I know we're going to be fine.

I know the feeling. My husband and I were a couple for 10 years before immigration stuff and getting married, yet always still had those nerves when dealing with one person having our lives in their sole hands.

Yes, you will be fine. It's relaxing that's the hardest part. 🤪

Everyone overslept, Two Guys zzz man.

Got Mini-B. up, fed, dressed, and to skool in Many (2x2x2x2x2 -2-2) minutes, maybe a record man.

Lunch was onecan of store-bought* chicken & dumplings soup, ingest we man.

*from a legacy supermarket at half-price closeout, financially savvy we man

Mini-B. exited skool grousing, not altogether unjustified man.

On Monday, gym teechur had them do 2 minutes of squats, sore legs man.

On Tuesday was Boosterthon lap-run, really good planning and  :bonk:  man.

Mini-B.'s good skool-shoes got muddy, really good planning and :bonk: man.

The mood and repartee were not optimal, not altogether unjustified man.

Din-din was nuked-in-the-bag mixed vegetables and Gen. Tso's chicken, ingest Two Guys man.

Mini-B. thrilled at non-canned vegetables, wants nuked ones every day now man.

Made the rather solid point that the bags contain all of what we feed him individually, egad man.

This engendered parental panic as to what to do with the Manycans of vegetables now, uh-oh man.

We negotiated "bagged vegetables and bagged salad mostly, cans occasionally," accepted by wee man.

And, as usual, entire Many-oz. bag of Gen. Tso's was completely consumed, a Two Guys din-din man.

Gave Mini-B. some children's Advil for aching legs at bedtime, stop the grousing man.

Finished one chapter of in-bed book and someone was zzz-ing, out-knocked wee man.

Texas weather Many, Chamber-of-Commerce day man.

Texas mosquitoes Many, spraying stopped in October despite promises, grrrr man.

Miu awake much of day and sat on our lap, interfere with Business Typhoon duties miu man.

Miu kissed us on the lips Many (2+2) times, ulteriorly motivated miu man.

Miu was jockeying for miu-treats, feed miu we man.
