For second day in row, didn't leave casa, obviously hate People Animals & Things we man.

For lunch, Mini-B. had Aldi chili, secondary favorite of wee man.

For lunch, we had a rediscovered can of bean + bacon soup, bought on closeout at Big Lots man.

 

Din-din was green beans* and entire pack of General Tso's chicken, ingest all Two Guys man.

     *eaten by Mini-B. with almost no objection, ingest wee man

 

Got Mini-B. almost through his mandatory half-hour of piano practice, grumbling wee man.

Installed 2 moth traps in the casa, we with up-cheered wee man.

 

Played wiffle-ball in back yard, whack them balls wee man.

Did not faceplant self in the grass this time, graceful we man.

Put Mini-B. to bed and began wild party with the rubias, ongoing as we speak man.

Jobs done in decent time for a highly reasonable $Many, conclude we man.

During return to casa, lunch taken out from Subway with use of coupon, ingest thrifty we man.

 

Lawn-Mexican finishing next door, finish he man.

Recruited him to remove small backyard shrub and dead loquat tree, demolish he man.

Total, including bagging/clean-up = $Many ($2x2x2x2 + 2+2), highly reasonable man.

 

Hourlong nap procured, zzz we man.

 

Mini-B. aced Zoom piano lesson, proud wee and we man.

Din-din was 2 Hungry Man meatloaf dinners, ingest Two Guys man.

 

By the way, we have an excellent Many-stage system for rapid din-din action, see man:

       1.  We buy all the week's stuff on the weekend prior, see man.

       2.  We refrigerate rather than freeze it, halves or shortens even more the nuking-time man.

Many.  Already-thawed stuff needs no halftime "remove to stir" inefficiency, forget that man.

Many.  Nothing goes bad as long as it's all eaten during the week, experiment successfully we man.

We defy anyone to equal the efficiency of our culinary system, si man.

Wanted to attend huge GS at church, favorite of ours man.

However, had to stay at work all day, grrrr man.

Spent whole time vaporizing -- oj nie, atomizing -- a pretender to the POTS throne, take that man.

 

Mini-B. spent most of day at little amigo's casa, play wee man with wee man.

Was supposed to be back promptly by Many p.m. at latest, instructions man.

However, return was at half-of-half past Many p.m., late man.

Mini-B. was delivered amidst a major monsoon, grouchy wee man.

Furthermore, he had been fed just before din-din time, ruined man.

 

After delay, din-din was microwaved fried fish fillets from Aldi, ingest some wee and Many we man.

Din-din thus partially salvaged, OK then man.

 

Friday = movie night, tradition for Two Guys man.

Tried to interest Mini-B. in an opening educational video, no luck man.

Mini-B. showed little interest in having us win a plushie or anything else, hot wee man.

Air conditioning cranked to fullest extent, slow relief man.

Found Mexican place, almost unpopulated man.

Sat under cranked ceiling-fan, absolute relief for we and wee man.

Cheaps & salsa quite good, ingest whole bowl we and wee man.

Our lunch decided below average, ingest anyway we man.

Just wanted to give a big thank you to TBone who worked to turn down the heat in another thread over the weekend, when another poster was badgering me about COVID19 and vaccines. I take the virus very seriously, given that I have lost people to COVID and seen what even mild cases can do to people I care about when they have long COVID symptoms. I have myself been battling a rare but luckily not dangerous side effect from the vaccine. My sister continues to grapple with some side effects six months after recovering from COVID. Yes, I am perhaps a bit sensitive about it, I know. But TBone, thank you for stepping in. It meant and continues to mean a lot to me.

  -- make both beds, hate this man

Conquer remaining laundry, victorious yet again we man.

Other casa-hold chores, never-ending man.

Hosted Ex-Mrs.-T-B. & Cousin Mini-B. to watch regular AFV with we & Mini-B., tradition man.

Cousin Mini-B. enjoyed it at least as much as yesterday, hourlong English lesson man.

When he goes to Ex-Mrs.-T-B.'s casa, he usually cries a little bit, wants to be with us man.
