First day back at work after taking last week off and having a holiday yesterday.

 

Mama-Dave and Papa-Dave helped us move into new townhouse. Sadly, mini-Dave already too big for his grandma to carry for extended periods, but having two other people to watch him while we were packing and unpacking and cleaning the old place, very useful.

 

Also, dad saved us $many by doing some repairs and stuff with a bit of help from me. Fixed switch on ceiling fan so did not need to replace it, set things up so cables from wall-mounted tv run behind the wall, installed baby gates on stairs (this was quite tricky, and one of the gates we bought didn't work and needed replacement), blocked off fireplace (what they had in front of it was free-standing) since we won't be using it for a long time if ever. Made many trips to Home Despot, Ace Hardware, Target, Wal-Mart, and Harbor Freight.

 

Actually fed mini-Dave mac & cheese from kid's menu at one restaurant (ate all the applesauce and half the bowl of mac & cheese, which would have been fine for an adult portion); first time he's had something cooked by someone other than PRG ... 🤣

 

Starting working on PRG's ROC forms yesterday. Could have filed last week, but was much too busy. Don't expect to have her 10-year green card before she files for citizenship anyway ...

Thrilling Wednesday report, see man:

 

As did Smedley yesterday, Jeeves, today's POTS limo chauffeur, successfully got us away from the hordes of eager seek-jobbers thronged outside the POTS campus and whisked us anonymously into the POTS parking garage, relief man.

 

Uncle T-B. had been wanting a pocketwatch battery for some time, housebound senior he man.

It was rare, and we couldn't find it anywhere, si and no man.

We resorted to Plan B, which was to search for a new pocketwatch, resourceful we man.

We found a good-rated one on Amazon for just under $Many ($2x2x2), steal man.

We Primed it to ourself, free delivery man.

We set it to the proper time, timely we man.

We told Uncle T-B. that we had a little surprise for him, intrigued senior he man.

We took it along with a couple of grocery items to Uncle T-B. today, overjoyed senior he man.

It was worth skipping a nap for this, si and for almost nothing else man.

I have a sinus infection feel like poo, it's my birthday did I mention I feel like poo. Want to avoid the doctors so trying to decide how long to grin and bare it.  Need to deal with my inlaws soon to drop stuff off. I told them I'm sick so they may stay away :)

 

After that I need to call my parents. It's their 54th wedding anniversary/ Kids are dying to let me have my gift that the Hillbilly snuck out to get. He made me a cake too. ❤️

 

CAn I take a nap yet??

In laws came with a gift. THey brought be a dish rack. Like really seriously a dish rack for my birthday present. A text message saying happy birthday would have been better than a dang dish rack :girlwerewolf2xn::girlwerewolf2xn:
