We made it home. And the „breezy“ drive home today was NOT it. The husband had major vertigo and motion sickness and was puking for what felt like  our entire way home. 

I need a vacation from all this. Let‘s see if work will be okay and the kiddos nice to me.

Thrilling Wednesday report, see man:

 

Day ended up hosed, bummer man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. picked up Mini-B. half an hour early and returned him half an hour later, time-abuse she man.

 

Because the Pre-Owned Toilet Seats were selling themselves*, we ran errands for an hour, errandly we man.

    *but they won't end up in YOUR hands unless you order one, do so immediately man

Went to bank, where awestruck staff hastily rolled out red carpet to us, Business Typhoon we man.

Went to supermarket, where (among others) we bought miu Many (2+1) feather-rollers, favorite of miu man.

Put feather-rollers on kitchen counter among other items, deal with later man.

 

When Ex-Mrs.-T-B. brought Mini-B., he was tearful, tearful wee man.

His computer bag had dropped on his toe, painful ouchie man.

This was naturally cause for great drama, seen it before man.

We calmly got an icepack for the murdered toe, apply we man.

 

Meanwhile, Ex-Mrs.-T-B. wanted to talk with us urgently, worried she man.

Someone from the "Federal Bureau" had called to threaten her with lockup, not a bad idea man.

This caller demanded details of "transactions with Colombia," allege caller man.

If no details, he would "lock up Ex-Mrs.-T-B. within 2 hours," threaten he man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. tried to deal with him and eventually hung up, rattled she man.

 

We told her that she should have cooperated, crucial to do so man.

Said that the Bureau would take her straight out of her eyelash appointment and to jail, uh-oh man.

She believed us until we couldn't keep a straight face any longer, ha ha man.

 

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. had fed Mini-B. din-din, no-no for ex-she man.

We were urinated, displeased we man.

 

Ultimately, our "Two Guys" din-din was 2 hot dogs apiece, no salad man.

We were cheated by abused circumstances, grrrrr man.

 

As we readied Mini-B. for bed, miu came upstairs with something in mouth, playful miu man.

It was one of the Many (2+1) new feather-rollers, still attached to cardboard backing man.

We unbound the roller and showed Mini-B. how miu chases it, energetic miu man.

 

Later, miu returned with another feather-roller on backing, jackpot for miu man.

Still awaiting the hat trick, Many'rd time's the charm man.

It's been many, many years since I've been to the beach in Key West.  Back then the best "beach" was at Zachary Taylor State Park.  There is also an interesting old Civil War fort there.  Because the Keys are formed from mostly coral there is no true sand like most people are used to.  At some locations they have brought in sand from the Bahamas, if I recall correctly.

 

The "beaches" we go to around Big Pine Key (really sand bars or islands) are only accessible by boat.  As a side note, Big Pine Key is famous for it's Key Deer.  They are small even when fully grown.  About the size of a dog.  Every morning and evening they are in the yard.  They'll walk right up to you and look for a handout.

Tried fruitlessly* to find a playmate for Mini-B., ultra-social wee man.

    *however, did feed Mini-B. an apple, fruitful man

Around 2 p.m., took break from selling POTSs for local road-trip with Mini-B., get wee man off tablet man.

 

Went to pick up POTS tax return** from CPA, taxing matter man.

    **the POTS empire is so gigantic that we employ one CPA for every month, see man

Then went to Many (2+2+1) Below to get gift card for little amigo's impending birthday, bestow wee man.

Mini-B. paid for gift card from his own funds, commission for selling a POTS man.

Then got Mini-B. new flipflops at Ross, shod wee man.

Then got birthday card for little amigo, & Father's Day cards for Uncle T-B., at Dollar Tree, 2 for $1 man.

Mini-B. paid for birthday & his F's Day card from his own funds, POTS commission man.

Offered to pop in at PetSmart to see the critters, free zoo trip man.

Mini-B. declined because "All the cats are probably sound asleep right now," observant wee man.

Upon return to casa, Mini-B. in much better mood, uplift we wee man.

 

Din-din was General Tso's chicken and salad in that order, reversal man.

Mini-B. declined postprandial outdoor activity because "All the mosquitoes are probably wide awake right now," observant wee man.

 

At bedtime, finished reading "The Adventures of Grandfather Frog," published over a Manytury ago man.

 

On Fri., Mini-B. will attend Birthday Party #1 of his little amigo, ultra-social wee man.

We shall compile our GS/ES list for the weekend, probably have to limit it man.

Miu active in morn, quiescent midday, active in eve, and objecting to new miu-food, take that JD ma'am.

 

Mini-B. picked up for solo playdate by birthday amigo's parents, fun at entertainment place wee man.

 

Din-din was frozen/nuked Hungry Man meatloaf din-dins, Two Guys man.

 

Friday night was again Movie Night, Two Guys man.

Viewed were, see man:

  -- quicksand, learn about man

  -- lobsters, learn about man

  -- The Many (2+1) Stooges, humor perfect for Two Guys and No Chicas man

 

Many (2+1) bags of Costco microwave popcorn were devoured, ingest we and wee man.

After #Many, Mini-B. asked if we should have a Many'th, traditional last two Movie Nights man.

We said, "If we need to ask, we probably shouldn't," accepted by wee man.

 

Upon inventory, plenty of closets remain in this casa, no lack here man.
