Needy miu today, on lap stropping legs dropping toys man.

Taking Mini-B. to get his hairs cut after skool, wants to show it off on last skoolday tomorrow wee man.

Rest-of-Wednesday report, see rest man:

 

Took Mini-B. straight from skool to get hairs cut, grouse wee man.

Mini-B. then groused about hairs down his shirt, admittedly sloppy barberette man.

At casa, played ball in back yard, make haircut-shower worth it man.

Mini-B. happy after playing and shower, mollified wee man.

 

Din-din = beef pot pies (large), ingest we and wee Two Guys man.

Mini-B. then hungry an hour later and ate an apple + a frozen banana, re-ingest wee man.

Been at the doctor considering woman's problems (but it's a fallopian chat, so I won't get into details, since it's forbidden here )

After doing some tests I was diagnosed with insulin resistance, so I had to change a diet. I choose a dietary catering as a new start. Eating it for a week now, cause I'm too lazy to cook, obviously lol. And I can eat a lot of things I wouldn't normally eat, so I'm definitely not complaining

Will have to repeat the tests in two months and see if the diet change is enough. I want to avoid taking any pills or something like that.

 

And after a talk with the New Zealand's Red Carpet Tours, we decided to postpone our LOTR trip to February 2022. Probably will ditch Sydney if Australia doesn't get open till then. My sister is fully vaccined and I'll get my second shot in two weeks. So I think we'll be safe to travel

 

So that's a shortcut of what's happening across the pond from you all

Mini-B.'s last day of Many'th grade in skool, start Many'th grade next year wee man.

Got to show off new haircut, won't need to spend on that again for a while we man.

 

Played hooky from POTS-selling* to shop for Mini-B., we consider wee man.

     *buy your POTS today, si man!

Got 2 new kickballs, a Many-pack of wiffleballs, a pack of baseball bases, & a back-scratcher, si man.

Just started raining, so can't play outside after skool, sigh man.

 

Miu is quiescent but needy, lap-miu miu man.

Is still using litterbox Many times per hour, don't know if actual need or mere habit man.

When box goes off, miu always stares at it suspiciously and goes in again to investigate, curious miu man.

Rest-of-Thursday report, see man:

 

Rains let up exactly when skool let out, amazing luck man.

Mini-B. downcast at end of last day of skool, we ask wee man why man.

"I'll miss my friends," explained wee man to we man.

And this from one who didn't want to go to skool every day for the last 2 months,  man.

 

Din-din was bagged salad and all-beef hot dogs, end-of-skool choice of wee man.

 

After we read Mini-B. his bedtime story in his bed, he said the following, see man:

"Let's see who can keep his arm in the air the longest, see man."

We held our left arms in the air, Two Guys competing man.

 

After Many (2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2 + 2+1) minutes, we were still at it, Two Guys competing man.

We asked, "Whose stupid idea was this, anyway, huh man?"

Mini-B. said, "I'm not giving up, no man."

We said, "We're not giving up either, no man."

 

After another Many (2x2x2) or Many (2x2x2+2) minutes, we suggested a truce, suggest we man.

We suggested that Mini-B. keep his arm straight and hug us with it, compromise man.

Mini-B. was asleep within barely Many minutes, zzz wee man.

Scintillating Friday repartee, yawn man.

Thrilling Friday report, see man:

 

Monsooned most of day, Texas weather not Many man.

Mini-B. watched tablet/played games all day while we sold POTSs, patient wee man.

Lunch was canned chili, ingest we and wee man.

 

About half-past Many (2+2) p.m., we inspected the weather, inspect we man.

We invited Mini-B. to go scootering, up & down the street man.

Mini-B. really cheered up after that, cheered wee man.

 

Din-din was canned corn* and microwaved fish-sticks**, ingest we and wee man.

    *we serve Mini-B.'s in a bowl and we eat from the can, save warshing a second bowl man

  **Mini-B. had Many (2x2x2+1) and we had Many (2x2x2x2+2+2), Two Guys man

 

Soon thereafter came Movie Night, Friday tradition for Two Guys man.

Sat in theater-style sofa procured from the recent ES, perfect venue man.

We introduced Mini-B. to The Many (2+1) Stooges, delighted wee man.

Watched Many (2+1) YouTube videos of them, delighted wee man.

Watched a "when things go wrong" video chosen by Mini-B., mildly interesting man.

Ended with two videos about clams, learn why clams are happy man.

In total, Many (2+2) -- yes, Many (2+2) -- bags of Costco popcorn met their maker, ingest we and wee man.

 

For Saturday, we have itineraried 2 GSs, 2 MSs (moving-sales), and Many (2+1) ESs, plethora wee man.  We shall see how many are not phantomized by the forecast monsooning, see and report we man.

Today, Friday June Many'th (2+2th), is the one-year anniversary of the euthanizing of Previous Cat T-B., bye miu man.

 

Mini-B. was so brave as his "big sister" died in his lap, sad wee about miu man.

He was surprisingly circumspect about it later, amazing wee man.

We attended 2 GSs and Many (2+2) ESs, ran out of time for more man.

The GSs were pleasant but nothing for us, si and no man.

The ESs yielded the following, see the take man:

 

 -- nearly full can paint-thinner; small cake rack; humor book = $1 + half a buck, steal man

 -- pullover shirt = $Many ($2+1), deal man

 -- 2 Loft bath towels; mostly full large jar black pepper = $Many ($2+2+1), steal man

Total = $Many-&-a-half ($2x2x2+1 + half a buck)

For din-din, took Mini-B. to Chinese buffet, approved of by we and wee man.

This was belated "graduating Many'th grade" celebration, earlier attempts rained out man.

We ingested 2 heaping plates of exclusively beef & chicken, get money's worth we man.

Mini-B. ingested 2 heaping plates of more balanced stuff, epicurean wee man.

We stuffed ourselves thoroughly, Two Guys man.

 

Then did Home Despot's June kids' project, we supervise wee man.

From sealed package to completion certificate in half an hour, proficient wee man.

Then played Uno at great length, competitive we and wee man.

Miu interposed herself in the middle of the activity, supervisory miu man.

Mini-B. won Many games and we won Many games, obvious who was superior man.

 

No raise-arming contest in bed tonight, too late man.

One more most-of-day of Two Guys before surrendering Mini-B., sigh man.

Many Many Moons ago I shared many many important off topic things with you. that was until life got in the way and this forum had to suffer and be without me. 

 

Aaaaaaaaanyway…the Queen of Austria is back. Lots of things happened…but where to start?! 

Most importantly…The husband and the queen are still married and barely ever want to rip each other‘s heads off, we made it through COVID and are FINALLY going on vacation on wednesday.

Haven't been more than 45 minutes from Chez DA since Christmas 2019 here.

 

In 2017 we were in two different country-like things together

In 2018 we were in five different country-like things together

But we haven't been outside the US since Anastasia got here in March 2019 (since we're in San Diego, not more than 45 minutes from home wouldn't definitively preclude this) between immigration rules, an infant, covid, and Russia and the US deciding that making things difficult for ordinary Americans and Russians who want to travel between the countries is a good way to manage disputes.
