Well after more than a year of blissful peace and quiet, the drug house has finally sold. For way less than they were going for. Lot of activity about the place, there would have to be. Given the price of lumber at the moment, someone must have deep pockets to put  it all right.

Trailer of furniture unloaded there today. So far all I've seen is one middle aged man. I hope he isn't hiding a bunch of screaming kids and a couple of atv's, and a pack of crazy mad dogs like the last people had.  Herself, of course, has been interested in all the extra traffic. As in barking at everything that moves. She seems to think that if she can see it, it's hers.

I ought to get off my duff and mow tonight. As I spent all day taking everything out of the garden shed,  installing new shelves, and lugging everything back I think I'll pass. Not meant to rain tomorrow, and if I can't finish it up in one day it will have to wait.

Painted the lounge ceiling yesterday, and next I will get the spackle and primer out again. I swear that this is my last fixer upper. Ever.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

Fingers crossed for a nice quiet neighbour.

I have one like that. The ####### is only 8 but man he acts like he's 80. You can have him if you want double barking :D

Sounds like my day. Lugged the pool and set it up. Filling it now. I need to work on a few more things like getting the darn PH pucks that I forgot to grab. Had to order more filters. Normally Amazon is the place to go but they wanted crazy money 336 bucks for 12 where last year it was 70 bucks. Trying to find smaller packs didn't help either. I did however find a 6 pack from walmart for less then 60.

Quite exciting Sunday report, definitely see man:

Awoke far too early, need further zzz we man.

Fed Mini-B. and prepped him for visit to Mama T-B., doting senior she man.

Immediately started Laundry Load #1, knew what we were facing soon man.

Not raining, but skies threatening, uh-oh man.

Contacted neighbor with truck, collect yesterday's ES furniture he and we man.

Hastily threw LL#1 in dryer and warshered LL#2, hastily efficient we man.

Hastily dropped Mini-B. with Mama T-B., run off we man.

Not raining, but skies threatening, uh-oh man.

Took T-B.-mobile to ES for possible cramming of chairs into it, ultimately not needed man.

Neighbor arrived in truck, dependable he man.

Not raining, but skies threatening, uh-oh man.

Neighbor painstakingly inspected each item for sale at ES, thorough he man.

Neighbor bought old cookbooks and 2 wine glasses for $2, steal man.

We bought ourself the stuff mentioned above, steal man.

Not raining, but skies threatening, uh-oh man.

Neighbor and we carried chairs and table leaves to truck bed, carry us back to old Virginny man.

Neighbor disassembled table legs, deconstructive he man.

Neighbor and we carried wooden tabletop to truck, need body transplant afterwards we man.

Neighbor and we placed wooden tabletop face-down atop chairs, sensible he man.

Not raining, but skies ominously threatening, uh-oh man.

We returned to casa in the T-B.-mobile, return we man.

Neighbor stayed behind to help lady customer load her purchased furniture, helpful he man.

En route, monsoon began, oh [censored] man.

Monsoon somehow quit at casa, still oh [censored] man.

Neighbor soon arrived with dry furniture in dry truck, miraculous to report man.

His route had somehow avoided the monsoon, miraculous to report man.

Neighbor and we unloaded and brought in table, chairs, legs, and leaves, easy job man.

Curious miu did not escape out door, interior miu man.

Neighbor reassembled table legs, screwed tightly for no wobbles man.

Table was made in Hickory, N.C. in (it appears) the year 1ManyManyMany, not foreign junk man.

Table was owned by a dentist, confirmed by ES lady and by prosthodontic books for sale man.

Neighbor and we centered table on floor and arranged chairs, perfect placement man.

Neighbor got into truck to leave and a nonstop monsoon began, what timing man.

We shone table with furniture polish, can of same bought at an earlier ES for $1 man.

Table shines like an illegitimate male child, magnificent man.

Retrieved Mini-B. from Mama T-B., great time had by multiple generations there man.

Showed Mini-B. table, genuinely impressed wee man.

Let Mini-B. try cushioned chair, genuinely impressed butt of wee man.

Continued laundry, conquer LLs #1, #2, & #Many man.

Made beds and did other Sunday pre-workweek prep, too much man.

Napped for nearly 2 hours like a dead thing, zzz we man.

While we were zzz-ing, Ex-Mrs.-T-B. came over, misjudged start time of AFV she man.

We didn't hear a thing, dead-to-world we man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. collected boxes of her junk, stored here all that time man.

Also went into garage, pertinent to later item man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. impressed with table and silent about bargain price paid, ha ha ha man.

For din-din, fed Mini-B. long-promised Chef Boy-ar-Dee Spaghettios & Meatballs, major food group man.

Watched AFV, we and ex-she and wee but no miu man.

Packed up Mini-B. for week with Ex-Mrs.-T-B., bye wee man.

Still no sign of miu, very strange man.

Upon accusation, Ex-Mrs.-T-B. denied letting miu out front door, yeah right man.

Intense multi-person search for missing miu, no luck man.

Then we asked Ex-Mrs.-T-B. if she had been in garage, affirmatory she man.

Opened interior door to garage, open we man.

Into casa rushed miu, stranded for 2+ hours miu man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. had again not ensured whereabouts of miu vis-a-vis open doors, :bonk: man.

Bye to Mini-B. with unison chanting of the Two Guys credo plus tummy-bump, bye we man.

Finished rest of chores, finish we man.

A pretty good Sunday, conclude we man.

This post was too long to read.

Let this be a lesson to those who would brazenly eliminate all closets from casa.

We don't know where she's going to store any of those boxes, no JD ma'am.

Currently, her pantry is some wire shelving just inside the entryway, good grief man.

This is until she can get shelving for the entryway coat closet, this will be the pantry man. :bonk:

No mention of din-din for Hillbilly or the Many,000 offspring, no man!

I made pasta carbonara for supper with made from scratch pasta. Bacon was store bought, not keeping pigs in the city that's for sure.

Took our 6 yr old cat to vets. She stopped eating and barely drinking. Only sleeping and hiding.

Turns out chemical burns in her mouth. Ask if it could have been from chewing wires but the vet said no. She's never been a chewer before. We have nothing she could have gotten into. Now we are questioning her food. There is no recalls on any of the food we have. Hers or the kittens.

With pain meds and some fluid she is looking more like herself. Went straight to food and water.

At an uncivilizedly early hour, took T-B.-mobile for oil change, time man.

At supermarket, got tupacs* of deli lunch-meat at half-off, thrifty we man.

*plural unit of measure, tu pacs man

another such is toucans, tou cans man

One pac was sliced chicken breast, one pac was sliced turkey breast man.

Curbsided** the garbage, domestic we man.

**if someone can broadside a car, we can curbside the garbage, stands to reason man

Din-din was the end of a bag of Ranch-drenched salad and the full pac of turkey breast, ingest we man.

Miu wanted to participate, eat your own [censored] miu food man.

We let her lick the paper plate off which we ate the pac of turkey, satisfied miu man.
