Went to Big Lots with a purpose, purposeful we man.

Had nearly expired coupon to use, waste not want not man.

It was for Many% (2x2x2x2+2+2%) off a purchase of at least $Many ($2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2+1), lucrative man.

 

Exceeded the $Many threshold by about half a buck, financially savvy we man.

Coupon saved us $Many + Many cents ($2+2+1 + [1+2] cents), much free stuff man.

We are very, and borderline insufferably, pleased with ourself, whee man.

Similarly, I went to Groce Outlet today.  Found NZ butter and smoked salmon for homesick spouse, who doesn't mind if it is expired and fell off the back of a slow boat.  Groce Outlet is next to $1 Store, where I also prowled.

 

Signed up for their email club and received a coupon for many ($1+1+1) for next time.  Tomorrow:  shall buy flowers for window boxes and try to improve the wintry mess in the garden.

 

TB, have you approached Big Lots to see if they would like to carry a line of POTS?

Thrilling Wednesday report, see man:

 

Was our off-week eve with Mini-B., we with wee man.

Din-dinned at Wendy's with use of coupons, Two Guys man.

 

Mini-B. had what he considered a rough day at skool, poor Many-year-old wee man.

We told him that the best antidote was to do something nice for someone else, reason we to wee man.

 

Accordingly, went to Dollar General to buy part of Uncle T-B.'s grocery list, casa-bound senior he man.

Tried to focus Mini-B. on shelf-stickers & comparing prices, partially successful we man.

Delivered stuff to grateful Uncle T-B., senior he man.

 

Mini-B. observed that it must be tough to be old, alone, and stuck in one place all the time, perceptive wee man.

 

Took Mini-B. back to casa for cameo viewing of funny Baba-Mail posts, enjoy we and wee man.

Mini-B. likes construction failures, wacky signs, etc., so do we man.

 

Returned Mini-B. to Ex-Mrs.-T-B., return we wee man to she man.

Mini-B. admitted that helping Uncle T-B. helped both of them feel better, proud we of wee man.

We previously reported our dichotomous conundrum regarding numbers of hot dogs vs. buns, headscratcher man.

 

We would end up with either Many (2+2) buns and zero hot dogs, or Many (2x2x2) hot dogs and Many (2+2) buns, never the twain would match man.

 

We are proud to report that we have resourcefully overcome this intolerable situation, see man.

 

Today, after yet another record-$etting week of POTS sales, we went to the supermarket, shop we man.

 

We found a pack of Nathan's beef hot dogs that had Many (2+2+1) hot dogs in it, find we man.

 

We bought said pack and, for din-din, consumed Many (2+2) of the Many (2+2+1) hot dogs in our remaining Many (2+2) buns, now just one away from bun/dog equilibrium man.

 

We knew that this was merely a matter of manipulating P-math equations, Einstein we man.

Partially because T-Bone talks about it all the time and partially because I'm cheeeeeap, I've been spending my weekends going to all the garage and estate sales in the neighborhood.

 

My best garage sale find:

A pair of jeans from J Crew with the tags still on, for 50 cents. Fits me great!

 

My best retail find:

I can get sealed unexpired sunscreen for 50-80% off at Ross and Bargain Hunt. Perfect for summer.

 

My best curbside find:

A chaise that my husband and I picked up on the sidewalk, pressure-washed and vacuumed to within an inch of its life before bringing into the house. No bedbugs or weird stains, otherwise I wouldn't even have touched it in the first place. It's been a month since we rescued it and it's held up pretty well. I call it my favorite purchase in the States.

Very needy miu just sat on our lap for the second time tonight, affectionate miu man.

Miu also brought a miu-toy to drop at our feet, play with me Daddy man.
