Thrilling Saturday Part II, see man:

 

Drove to other small town (population precisely Many -- 2x2x2x2x2x2x2x2 people man).

Went to previously good restaurant for early lunch, try after many years we man.

Service and food below our recollection, disturbing man.

 

Girl at register rang up our order at higher cost than menu said, object we man.

"Oh, the manager programmed higher prices into the register for Antique Weekend," quoth she man.

"We think that you should honor the menu price," responded we man.

"She just didn't give us the updated menus," said she man.

After more, we finally got back the difference in cash with a semi-apology, mollified we man.

 

Drove toward another prospective GS at an uncertain GPS location, wing it we man.

Rain became more pronounced, more on than off man.

Never did find GS, they needed more specificity with their address man.

 

Cut one small town from itinerary, tired we man and rain man.

Drove to area's "largest" city, big in comparison to others man.

Attended above-mentioned GS & ES, duds man.

 

Drove to small town between there & casa, outrun the rain man.

Got most of week's groceries at small grocery chain there, good stuff man.

Just as all was entrunked in the T-B.-mobile, rain began in earnest man.

 

Returned to casa and very bored miu at half-past Many (2+1) p.m., full day man.

Put away groceries amidst demanding miu, Where Were You man.

Checked e-mail and found Uncle T-B.'s grocery list, casa-bound senior he man.

Went straight out to mobbed supermarket and found all but 2 items, great success man.

Dropped stuff at Uncle T-B.'s place, deliver we for senior he man.

 

Immediately returned to same supermarket for our catch-up stuff, complete own list man.

Returned to casa and put away amidst demanding miu, bored miu man.

Finally took shower, probably pungent we man.

Ate toucans of something for din-din, ingest we man.

Lay down for planned hour-&-a-half nap, suspected what would happen we man.

Overslept alarm by hour-&-a-half, exhausted we man.

 

Body hurts from trudging/driving/grocery-ing, Heap Strong Medicine man.

Although trip not optimal, was good to get away, vacate even briefly we man.

 

P.S. man:  All visited communities eagerly ordered POTSs, write off all expenses we man.

Fatigue-hangover from our trip, too much man.

Mowed full lawn, 2-sweatband job man.

Did not leave casa, no man.

Unsuccessfully attempted nap, no zzz we man.

Conquered single laundry load, Thread Laundress report man.

Dished & de-dished the warsher, start week afresh man.

Watched AFV with Ex-Mrs.-T-B. & Mini-B., pretty good one man.

Saw that Mini-B. had gained weight AGAIN after a week with Ex-Mrs.-T-B., has got to stop man.

Accomplished nothing else of value, sad or we simply forgot something of value to mention man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. tearing hairs out regarding "her" casa (old rental casa), hee hee man.

Vacated tenant (probably his Manyaged daughter) trashed the place, much to rehab man.

We are happier than ever to have been relieved of that albatross,  we man.

Mini-B. fell asleep very quickly and early tonight, zzz wee man.

The Polish tax instructions tell everyone that they owe $Many, simple and elegant system man.

After collecting Mini-B. from skool, went hunt-jalopying, shop we with wee man.

Ended walking out of an empty dealership that wanted to make all its profits off of us, forget it man.

 

 

Mini-B. was quite disappointed with the outcome, and we had to settle him down, poor wee man.

We said that no matter how much we want something new, no rip-off is worth it, si and no man.

We brought home KFC at his request, eventually mollified wee man.

And we are disgusted with that dealership, never go there again man.

Played kickball with Mini-B. again Thurs. eve, aerobic we and wee man.

On Sat., going to a couple of GSs/ESs and taking Mini-B. to the zoo, see our Great Ape relatives we man.

Took miu to the vet for the first time, vet miu we man.

 

We had carrier out several days early, calm possibly suspicious miu man.

However, miu didn't remember it, oblivious miu man.

We noisily filled miu's food bowl, miu came running man.

We grabbed miu and threw her into carrier, easy as pie man.

Miu went aysheep on short trip, yowl loudly aysheep miu man.

 

Vet tech took miu into office as we followed, prep miu man.

We got to sit in chair to observe miu, observe miu we man.

Miu was very silent in presence of strange human beans, quiet miu man.

 

Tech caressed and held miu as doctor did exam, examine miu she man.

Doc says that miu is about as fat as she should be, portly miu man.

Recommends low-carb soft-food diet, miu won't eat more than a couple of bites man.  

Miu got 2 booster shots, a bit early, propitious timing man.

Miu's fizzicle exam was "great," according to doc.

Doc wants to see miu in one year, see miu doc man.

Doc very easily manicured miu, we thought it would take one person per paw man.

 

Miu went somewhat aysheep on drive back to casa, aysheep miu man.

Miu calmed down when back in casa, calm miu man.

Miu never used scratching-post all day, well-manicured miu man.

 

Miu slept most of day/eve, not even coming down at night for brushing or play man.

This was all far less traumatic than the Many trips with previous miu, fortunate we man.

And miu is not a Bengal after all, but closest to an American Tabby, identified miu man.

Attended just two GSs, other plans with Mini-B. we man.

One was a dud, although we nearly bought a Jos. A. Bank suit there, just avoided it man.

Second was a hyskool fundraiser, see the take man:

 -- baseball cleats for Mini-B.; Many (2+1) books for Mini-B.; basketball video game for 

        the PSMany(2+2); game with 2 handheld shields onto which thrown fuzzy balls stick; 

        approx. a Manyzen clothespins = $Many ($2x2x2+2), steal man
