Well, that was an interesting weekend to say the least.

On Friday we had to walk eight miles for a school field day. The weather was nice.

I was driving back home from school when a careless driver got out of a parking lot and made a left turn on a right turn only sign. I guess you can imagine the rest. Thankfully, it's all cosmetic damage. The other driver did apologize profusely and admitted their fault. Fine. I made it home.

Saturday morning rolls in, Zach got up first, let the two puppies out only to find out that the youngest puppy (90 lb and 7 months...) was "playing" with a squirrel, which of course at this point was the body of a squirrel. Puppy got called in, teeth got brushed, and all was said and done... Or at least that's what we thought. Puppy (from now on, Cocha) wanted to go out again, to what Zach thought potty but apparently he had other plans and he made himself a second toy squirrel.

I got up after all this happened, was ready to make some eggs for breakfast but I guess mother nature had other plans for me and the eggs were completely rotten... Which I realized after cracking them open and spilling some egg whites onto the pan... The smell was pungent. Zach and I ended up gagging. That was Saturday. The day got better.

Sunday morning rolls in, I went to cook eggs for breakfast and... guess what happened. Another rotten egg, another 10 minutes of gagging. After this,  I took the dogs to the dog park, I let them run free and wild, then we came back home Cocha wanted to go out. I let him out and he got the third squirrel. The whole weekend felt like events kept repeating as if in a loop!

Where did you buy these eggs

From a coworker that has a registered farm! About two weeks ago, they were unwashed and outside of the fridge so it was all done properly on my end. I will just give her a heads up, I am sure there was no foul (fowl yes, there was fowl!) involved.

"Cocha" is named after his breeder "La Cocha". The farm is built near an native settlement, and in their language it means "Lake". The funny part is that when we were flying the puppy from Argentina to the US my husband was in between two names, Messi (it was right around the World Cup time that we got him) or Cocha.. So on papers he is Messi Cocha de La Cocha lol

Scintillating Wednesday repartee, yawn man.

-----

Non-thrilling supplemental Tuesday report, see man:

Just after Tuesday's thrilling report was filed, a completely avoidable emergency happened, oboy man.

All this at Many (2x2x2 +2) p.m., oboy man.

Mini-B. informed ex-Mrs.-T-B. that his Band Festival was at o'dark-Many today (Wed.), delinquent wee man.

The mandatory uniform was his band T-shirt plus jeans, stated wee man.

   1.  We (not ex-Mrs.-T-B.) had the band T-shirt, possess we not ex-she man.

   2.  Mini-B. had no jeans, zero man.

We ran T-shirt to ex-she-man's casa, run we man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. ran to Target to find jeans, run ex-she man.

And Mini-B. tried to load this on both of us, put monkeys on the incorrect backs man.

We and ex-Mrs.-T-B. have just about had it, grrrr man.

We've had to drag Mini-B. kicking and screaming through this skool year, tests/assignments/performances man.

If he wants young-adult respect, he needs to take charge of his own responsibilities, agree we & ex-she man.

And his failure to plan should not constitute an emergency for us, no man.

For example, also on Tuesday, Mini-B. pestered ex-Mrs.-T-B. (away, swamped with work) to let his little amigos come over, beg wee man of ex-she man man.

We had texted Mini-B. to ask if he'd done his math homework yet, follow up we man on wee man man.

"No; I'm doing my science homework," responded wee man to we man man.

"What about your math?" asked we man of wee man man.

"I'll do that later," responded wee man to we man man.

"'Later' means during Two Guys evening, then; it's due Thursday," said we man to wee man man.

"I'm doing my science now," responded wee man to we man man.

We informed ex-Mrs.-T-B. of this, inform we man ex-she man man.

This was the first that ex-she man had known of the science homework, surprise man.

Investigation revealed that Mini-B. got started so late because of his amigos that he had no time for math, no man.

The upshot was that ex-Mrs.-T-B. took away Mini-B.'s phone for a week, one punishment man.

He is also no longer allowed to have amigos over during the week, no amigos man.

Pending punishment is no phone till the skool year is over, agreed in principle between we man and ex-she man man.

We must somehow impress on Mini-B. that until he takes charge of his own duties and priorities, he'll be penalized, si man.
