Did not leave the casa all day, party-animal we man.

 

Updated our fast-food coupons, organized and financially savvy we man.

 

Lunch was the remaining Many (2+2) hot dogs from last week, ingest we man.

Din-din was MTG (Modified Tuna Glop)*, ingest we man.

      *nuked rice + onecan tuna + onecan cream of mushroom soup** instead of onecan peas man

    **bought at a previous ES, financially savvy we man

 

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. requested that Thursday be our Two Guys day this week, accepted by we man.

 

Out-of-control party with the rubias any minute now, wild man we man.

Dear wonderful sleeper community,

Please help out this Argentinian lady in distress. Hear me out.

The older I get (and I am 39 years young), the pickier I have been getting with beds and mattresses. Zach and I bought a foam mattress about two years ago and it is the worst investment we've ever made. It just won't bounce back. Nothing smart about it, I t tell you. So we (or I) have started shopping around for mattresses. Unbeknownst to me, I went to Sleep Number and was introduced to the world of adjustable beds. And now after reading online and researching I have realized that's what we need. However, Sleep Number are expensive. Mind you, I am a teacher, hubby is an electrician, so we are not poor but as we say in Argentina "we don't throw butter to the roof". Butter is expensive back home I guess lol. Anyhow, I digress.

Desperately looking for adjustable beds and matresses recommendations. Gracias totales!

Read funny Baba-Mail items, all caught up on them man.

Watched Many (2+1) episodes of Urban Rescue Ranch, find on YouTube man.

Returned Mini-B. after good time, Two Guys man.

 

Shall pay bills, itinerary Friday GSs/ESs, and await arrival of the rubias for uninhibited party, anticipatory we man.

Friday GS/ES report, see man:

 

We had itineraried 2 GSs, 2 ESs, and a church GS, itinerary we man.

One GS and one ES were duds, oh well man.

The other GS was phantom, grrrrRRRRRR man.

One ES and the church GS yielded the take, see man:

    -- book "Many,000 ([2x2x2x2 -2],000) useful phrases*" = $2, steal man

    -- 2-foot-long outdoor extension cord = $Many ($2+2+2), OK man

Total = $Many ($2x2x2)

 

*These types of phrases, see man:  useful, significant, felicitous, impressive, prepositional, business, literary, conversational, public speaking, miscellaneous; and striking similes, all amazing man.  Our favorite so far is, "sheer superfluity of happiness," literary phrase man.

Thrilling non-GS/ES Friday report, see man:

 

Awakened by sociable, hungry miu after far too little zzz, groggy we man.

Resolved to leave casa in ample time to avoid afternoon monsoon/cold front, resolve we man.

Beautiful morning, Texas weather Many man.

 

Lunch was at a Chinese buffet*, ravenous we man.

     *way away from normal geography, couldn't wait man

There was not a Chinese staff member to be seen, no man.

We ingested Many (2+1) heaping plates, as follows man:

  -- Plate #1 = pepper steak + broccoli chicken, as few vegetables as possible ingest we man

  -- Plate #2 = pepper steak, as few vegetables as possible ingest we man

  -- Plate #Many = broccoli chicken + baked fish, as few vegetables as possible ingest we man

Buffet price was an outrageous $Many ($2x2x2x2 + tax) for "holiday" lunch, Veterans' Day man.

This place would be great to return to on a non-holiday, conclude we man.

 

Groceried amid pre-monsoon drizzle, nonsoaked we man.

Napped like an illegitimate male child for <1 hour, zzz we man.

Awakened by thunderous monsoon, hey boomer man.

No more short pants/sleeves for at least the next week, Texas weather sometimes not Many man.

 

Uninhibited party with the rubias begins imminently, got no self-control and don't want any we man.

Weekly rant:

 

Here it is mid November and we are still dealing with heat and humidity.  

Was outside yesterday cutting up the last large branches from the 1st hurricane (Ian) from several weeks ago and the palm fronds from the second "hurricane" (Nicole) which was just a mild tropical storm here.

 

Worked up a terrific sweat.  Mid 80's and too much humidity.  Good news is that a "cold" front is coming by Sunday and night time temperatures will drop into the 60"s!!  WOW.  Still be mid 80's for daytime.  

 

At least the pool is a reasonable temp.  Also mid 80's.

Saturday ES & Thrift-Store report, see man:

 

In the terrible cold, we attended one ES that yielded the take, see man:

 -- hair-dryer with an actual cool setting (not "cool shot"); Many (2+2+2) packs microwave rice*; 

       tupac "Mad Libs"; nylon zipper-bag = $Many ($2x2x2 +2), steal man

Total = $Many ($2x2x2+2)

        *saving us a trip to the store to get exactly that, serendipity man

 

We visited our favorite non-chain thrift store for the first time in months, visit we man.

Everything in the store was half-price, talk dirty to us man.

The take, see man:

 -- one jeans & one 2-pocket flannel shirt** for us; 2 pants & 1 shirt for Mini-B. = $Many ($2x2x2), 

        steal man

       **seemingly new, seem man
