Had to get the handyman out this morning. Stepped in cold water in the middle of the night in the bathroom. Seems there is a leak, and the wax ring on the loo needs replacing. Given that, so does the subfloor on inspection. Very wet and spongy, the floor isn't meant to sag under your weight. Where I pulled the lino back, the floor underneath crumbles like old crackers.  He will be back in the morning to yank everything out and replace it.

One thing after another here in Happy Land.

I can explain it to you. But I can't understand it for you.

In our first casa, this was diagnosed as a problem, si Eh ma'am.

When we returned from work, Then-Mrs.-T-B. had pulled the toilet, wow she man.

She had replaced the wax ring herself, wow she man.

All that she needed help with was lifting the toilet to position it on the pegs, that's all man.

To reward her capability, we gave her a brand-new Pre-Owned Toilet Seat, show the love we man.
