DEATHBED CONFESSION

While a man was dying, his wife was maintaining a candlelight vigil by his side.  She held his fragile hand, tears running down her face.

Her praying woke him from his slumber.  He looked up, and his pale lips began to move slightly.

"My darling," he whispered.

"Hush, my love," she said.  "Rest -- don't talk."

He was insistent.  "I have something that I must confess," he said in a tired voice.

"There isn't anything to confess," replied his weeping wife.  "Everything's OK.  Go to sleep."

The man blurted out, "No, no -- I must die in peace.  I... I slept with your sister, your best friend, her best friend, and her mother!"

"I know," whispered his wife.  "That's why I poisoned you, si man."

She wasn't kidding.

Thrilling (?) Tuesday report, see man:

We overslept but still got Mini-B. fed and ready for skool in half-of-half an hour, expeditious we man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. took Mini-B. to skool because we had a nail in a T-B.-mobile tyre, nailed we man.

The tyre had held most of its air overnight, probably parked with nail against garage floor man.

Took T-B.-mobile to repair shop, necessary man.

Gigantic nail removed, impressive man.

Decided to buy 2 new front tyres from repair shop, good deal and will be done on Wednesday man.

One of Mama T-B.'s advices was to buy Mini-B. Nike shoes, senior she man pay man.

Mini-B. up-cheered immediately, up-cheered wee man.

We wrote e-mail and blind-copied Ex-Mrs.-T-B., in a meeting all this time man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. copied e-mail to mom of one kid, surreptitious ex-she man.

I went to my first ever GS today!  It's in our neighborhood, so even if we slept in like we usually do on Saturdays, we still got there before all the good stuff were gone.  I got me a scarf for $1!

Thrilling (?!) Saturday report, see man:

We are fortunate to have done our ES-ing on Friday, whew man.

On Saturday morn, he reported flu symptoms, uh-oh man.

He wouldn't even eat breakfast, first time ever man.

He complained about feeling cold, chills man.

His temperature was just over Many00 F., fever man.

We doped him with children's ibuprofen, all that we had on hand man.

We dressed him in long sleeves/pants, warm man.

He spent time in his blanketed bed,

He soon returned to his jovial self, jovial wee man.

He requested Subway* for lunch, ingest Two Guys man.

*with use of BOGO coupon, financially savvy we man

By Many p.m., symptoms returned with fever well over Many00 F., even worse man.

We coated/blanketed him and zoomed him to urgent care, trusted clinic man.

Nasal test for "Flu A" positive, what everyone has and going around early man.

Tamiflu was prescribed plus alternating doses of Tylenol/ibuprofen, Rx man.

Clinic gave him Tylenol, thankfully effective man.

Took longer at stinking Walgreens than at clinic, what TAKES so long man.

Mini-B. convinced us that ice cream was curative, conniving wee man.

Had to buy 2 pints of Blue Bell, chocolate cheap for wee butter pecan for we man.

Informed ex-Mrs.-T-B. of diagnosis, away at Rojo's casa ex-she man.

Informed Mama T-B., aysheep senior she man.

Din-din was beef pot pies, ingest Two Guys man.

Dessert was Blue Bell, ingest chocolate cheap wee and butter pecan we man.

Up-doped Mini-B. as instructed, Rx man.

Notified skool attendunce offisur and all teechurs, assiduous we man.

Shall send clinic's diagnostic page to regular doc, keep in loop man.

Shall try not to fall too deeply into Death Sleep tonight, vigilant we man.
