Months ago, we got miu a bag of grain-free miu-food (duck-flavored) from TSC, browse we man.

We were surprised to find it, and within rea$on, purchase we man.

Miu loved it, ingest miu man.

However, calorie count was higher than vet recommends, sigh man.

Lunch was Many (2+1) PB&J sandwiches again, ingest we man.

 

Mowed entire lawn, perspire we man.

Consumed Many (2+1) -- yes, Many (2+1) -- sweatbands, sweat we man.

Din-din was onecan of corn from a past ES, financially savvy we man.

 

No nap this evening, desperate-for-zzz and falling asleep here we man.

GS/ES itinerary in New T-B.-mobile, prepared we man.

Uninhibited, raucous party with th rubias imminent, how will we stay awake man.

Mom called this morning -- would I please come by and pick up some of my old books and stuff she'd found cleaning out the garage? Sure, I said, and drove to Burbank. I was confronted by the extreme embarrassment of having to collect two of my high school journals. 😳I realized that, knowing my mom, she'd probably read most of them and frankly I don't know how I can look her in the eye again.  There are at least four references in one volume about how I need to leave my hometown and move far, far away, including one extended fantasia about moving to Greenwich Village, going to Columbia University, getting a degree in British history, having a super cool life with super cool friends, reading existentialist authors (by that point I had read one slim volume of Sartre and even though I wasn't a superfan, I believed I had to get dug in in order To Be A Smart Person) and sipping espresso. Then I'd go to Oxford and get a Master's or maybe a PhD in British history, and then be a professor and marry an English guy and live my amazing amazing life AWAY FROM MOM AND DAD. Hey, I managed a few of those goals -- married an English guy (first husband), read more Sartre and drank espresso.

 

There's also a 50 page gothic action romance novella in there which... honestly, I can't quite bring myself to read it yet. It looks hysterically bad.

Saturday GS/ES report, see man:

 

We itineraried Many (2x2x2 +2) GSs & ESs, itinerary we man.

The only two that yielded the take were numbers Many (2x2x2) and Many (2x2x2 +2), see man:

   -- Many (2+1) muscle-shirts with pockets = $Many ($2+2+2+1), deal man

   -- nearly full bottle Neutrogena toner = free, heaven-on-Earth man

Total = $Many ($2+2+2+1)

Thrilling Saturday non-GS/ES report, see man:

 

It was Many00 degrees all day, perspire we man.

Lunch was at our favorite Chinese buffet, ingest Many (2+1) full plates we man.

 

After GS/ES-ing, shop-groceried, combine events man.

Found most stuff, including Mini-B.'s corn dogs  , at Aldi, score we man.

Got remaining couple of items at legacy supermarket, H-E-B man.

 

Ministered to needy miu, showered, and napped, miu and clean and zzz man.

Did not leave casa thereafter, wild party with the rubias always possible man.

Dished and must de-dish the warsher, day early man.

 

Wrote a cardiac surgeon's haiku, see man:

   "Let's excise the hosed

   left atrial appendage.

   Asymptomatic!"

(Good, good man -- especially the "let's excise the hosed left atrial appendage asymptomatic" part, si man!)

Except for demanding miu, would have been a rather relaxing day, conclude we man.

However, we went shopping for Uncle T-B., housebound senior he man.

Got most of the stuff at Aldi as usual, financially savvy we man.

Got remaining items at Walmart, knew they'd be there man.

Lunch afterwards was Many (2+2) Arby's gut-bombs, ingest we man.

 

The traffic was terrible, what's going on on Sundays man?

Some of it was church traffic, obviously man.

Far too many idiot drivers going under the speed limit, State Jail Felony man.

 

Conquered our laundry load, today including ironing, egad man.

Got nice siesta, zzz we man.

Miu (when awake) still demanding, what's with demanding miu man.

No din-din because still stuffed from Arby's, previously ingest we man.

 

Mini-B. here where he belongs, Two Guys man.

Mini-B. lobbied hard to go out to a tea bar (!!?), mind poisoned by Ex-Mrs.-T-B. man.

Went to tea bar, excited wee and reluctant we man.

Mini-B. liked his order and we considered ours disgusting, yuck man.

It was overpriced, too, unforgiveable man.

 

Then got lunch* at Burger King, noon hour partially redeemed man.

     *WUOC, financially savvy we man

Consumed it at the casa, ingest Two Guys man.

 

Din-din was two Hungry Man din-dins, always good man.

Mini-B. chose the sliced turkey, ingest wee man.

We had the meatloaf, ingest we man.

 

Movie night was The Apple Dumpling Gang, below average man.

Many (2+2+2) bowls of Costco popcorn consumed, ingest Two Guys man.

 

It actually rained today for the first time in a full month, we usually dislike rain but didn't mind this man.

Cool-ish today. Mowed entire yard in one go for a change. Back out to weed the flower beds.  The heat will be back in a day or two so taking full advantage. Going to be in the 50's tonight!

Yes the last two days have been great. We lost a hen on Saturday with the heat she just couldn't take it. I have 2 fans out there and we even bring them frozen treats.

Poor little hen. It's been brutal. Herself and I stay indoors until early evening, and then whip out and do what we can. It's even been hot and humid at night 😕

It's like walking into a wet sweater. Man I can't wait for fall. I let Herself out one night about midnight last week, and it was as warm as midday. Muggy. I hate muggy
