I mean, at my place I'd sous vide (sounds fancy, but is really easy, and you can't possibly burn anything; good for guys) some beef or pork, PRG would make some corn or potatoes, salad, and a some Russian thing she'd call a cake and I won't argue because whatever it is it's delicious, and we'd be good.

 

Requires a big pot and a sous vide machine, though. And a stovetop or grill to finish. And a PRG for the rest 🤣 (and there's only one of those, sorry, man).

The Many GSs were large but fruitless, oh well man.

Eventful (meaning the din-din) Saturday report, see man:

 

Awoke suboptimally early for GS/ES itinerary, punish-selfing we man.

Actually made good time during whole thing, boon man.

 

Lunched at FR/FST (favorite restaurant in favorite small town), ingest we man.

Bought a whole peanut-butter pie, incipient din-din use man.

 

Returned to casa at half-of-half till Many p.m., reasonable man.

Prepped by setting table et al. for din-din, domestic we man.

Decided to nap, necessary but too short man.

 

Retrieved Outlaws + Cousin Mini-B. from Ex-Mrs.-T-B.*'s casa, retrieve they we man.

     *who dragged Mini-B. along on date with the Rojo, opportunistic ex-she man

Outlaws + C.M-B. thoroughly impressed with new T-B.-mobile, hint and hmmmph man.

 

Beverage was "VMany (V[2x2x2]) Splash berry blend, enjoyed by all man.

Served mixed vegetables, ingest they man.

Discovered that all Many (2+2) salmon slabs would fit onto one plate, serendipity man.

Discovered also that both tubs of rice would concurrently fit microwave, serendipity man.

Kept adding 1 min, 2 mins, Many (2+1) mins to nuking-time, too much in there man.

 

Upon serving guests, still had to rewarm 2 plates + ours, no problem and understandable man.

 

Everyone seemed to enjoy salmon + rice, ingest all they man.

 

FR/FST pie for dessert, ingest almost all they man.

 

Cousin Mini-B. helped us clear table, helpful junior he man.

 

Gave brief tour to show changes in casa since Ecus' last visit, interested they man.

 

Returned seemingly pleased Ecus to other casa, return we man.

 

Note, man:  The burger spatula and the cake spatula, bought previously at separate ESs, were invaluable during this experience, savvy purchaser we man.

 

Even considering disposables, absolute mountain of dishes/silverware, amazing man.

(We were reminded of our dish duties every night during Then-Mrs.-T-B.'s cookery, :girlwerewolf2xn:man.)

Managed to dish the warsher, night earlier than usual man.

 

In conclusion, it seems as though we pulled this one off, somehow man.

However, for any next time, we shall be sure not to give Jeeves and Smedley the evening off, no man.

Or, we shall import Ontarklar to do all this stuff, probably proficient she man.

While warsh-dishing, we began to feel lousy, probably burned the candle at all Many ends man.

Sure enough, we have a body temperature of Many00 F., on the dot man.

Our body-aches ache, ouch man.

We shall take HSM (Heap Strong Medicine) at bedtime and hope to zzz in, almost certainly short-on-zzz we man.

Have you ever considered yoga or stretching or some sort of Chinese ancient healing practice to help with the many body aches and pains?

01-23-2008 = Consulate gets file; outdated Packet 4 mailed to fiancee 1/27/08; rec'd 3/3/08.

04-29-2008 = Fiancee's 4-min. consular interview, 8:30 a.m.; much evidence brought but not allowed to be presented (consul: "More proof! Second interview! Bring your fiance!").

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

06-30-2008 = Stokes Interrogations w/Ecuadorian (not USC); "wait 2 weeks; we'll mail her."

07-2008 = Daily calls to DOS: "currently processing"; 8/05 = Phoned consulate, got Section Chief; wrote him.

08-07-08 = E-mail from consulate, promising to issue visa "as soon as we get her passport" (on 8/12, per DHL).

08-27-08 = Phoned consulate (they "couldn't find" our file); visa DHL'd 8/28; in hand 9/1; through POE on 10/9 with NO hassles(!).
