Today's off to a good start. Stock market's been down (aka BIG BIG sale), so my husband and I put those dollars to good use and bought a lot today.

This is the only kind of sale we get excited about. We live super cheaply and we don't like spending money... except on stocks :D

Thrilling Friday report, see man:

Last night before bed, miu VERY energetically participated in "chase the thrown feather-rollers and wadded Arby's & Subway wrappers," enthusiastic nocturnal miu man.

Mini-B. asked only once, and weakly, if he really had to go to skool today, obviously tired wee man.

Lunch had to be ingested at our desk, gargantuan POTS deal then imminent man.

We prepared 2 sandwiches of sliced American cheese + mayonnaise on Texas toast, ingest and actually quite enjoy we man.

This impromptu culinary concoction is definitely not something that we would not try again, double negative equals positive man.

Miu enlapped herself Many times and kissed us on the mouth repeatedly, affectionate miu man.

We eventually gave in to her thinly disguised plot to mooch miu-treats, know we miu man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. wanted Mini-B. to attend Cousin Mini-B.'s soccer game, kickball man.

Start time was outrageously just an hour after Mini-B.'s release from skool, great timing man.

Mini-B. exited while shouting, "Freedom!  Freedom from the chains of Many'th grade, si man!" si man.

At casa, promptly prepared gourmet din-din of hot dogs, Chef Boy-Ar-T-B. we man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. showed up early and tried to mooch a hot dog, typical of ex-she man.

We off-fended her by telling her to build closets and THEN come talk to us, shut up ex-she we man.

After departure, we sent Cousin Mini-B. a text, see as follows man:

   "Estimado sobrino, si hombre😘

   "GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL!, si hombre.**

   "Atentamente, Tio T-B., nosotros hombre."***

   *Dear nephew, si man:

 **GOOOOOOOOOOOAL!****, si man.

***Sincerely, Uncle T-B, we man."

****what speak-Spanishing soccer-announcers scream upon a goal, see man

Mini-B. returned in time for Movie Night, properly on Fridays man.

Watched "Old Yeller," Manycades since we'd seen it man.

Many (2+2+1) bowls of Costco popcorn met their doom, ingest Two Guys man.

After nighttime routine, Mini-B. fell sound asleep rapidly, exhausted wee man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. wants to feed Mini-B. breakfast on Saturday instead of building closets, wrong priorities ex-she man.

We have itineraried Many (2+2+2) ESs but shall probably hit only Many (2+2+1), realistic we man.

Miu is proximal on the floor, gazing at us with "It's time for brushing and play, Daddy," obvious miu man.

Miu will have to wait until we either finish typing or give in, who of us has the stronger will man.

Kinda envious, I could use a good snow storm for hibernation purposes!  Here in the PNW hills, we have had days of pea-soup fog with cold ground air and inversions of warmer air up above.   We have daffodils coming up.  This is the time of year when I wish it would just make one last-ditch attempt at winter weather, or fully launch into spring, so I can plant flowers.

I think next weekend I'll run down to the Keys.  Should be back to normal.  Forecast says close to 80 by the end of the week there.  Just hope there is not too much wind so we can get out on the water.

Finally, scintillating repartee, whee man.

--------

Thrilling non-ES Saturday report, see man:

Day began inauspiciously, uh-oh man.

Miu coaxed our ultra-groggy carcass from bed after several attempted tap-naps, drat the alarm man.

Miu eagerly led us downstairs for miu-breakfast, expected routine man.

We served miu a "Fancy Feast Petites Ocean Whitefish entree" from new case, serve miu we man.

Ocean whitefish came out as "cuts in liquid" rather than "cuts in gravy," uh-oh man.

Miu spurned offering and objected at great volume, displeased miu man.

Urgently desiring caffeine, we told miu that miu was to eat it without complaint, no do-overs man.

Miu persisted invasively at high volume for quite a long undercaffeinated time, shoot us NOW man.

However, firm parenting develops well-adjusted children, or so 'tis said man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. had agreed to take Mini-B. for a mommy-cooked breakfast, ex-she feed wee man man.

We had JUST coaxed him to get dressed when ex-she arrived, desperately uncaffeinated we man.

Mini-B. complained about tight pants while on-pulling his socks, just do it minus commentary man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. began lecturing us again about pants size, shut up man:

"He needs size Many-Many, not Many-Many, si man," quoth ex-she man.

(On Friday, ex-she man questioned apparently over-long pants legs, optical illusion man.)

(We then said, "Larger waist means longer legs, si man," no one understands men's sizes man.)

Fortunately, Mini-B. said, "They're tight only when pulling on socks," mollify ex-she wee man.

Texas winter weather Many, weather elsewhere Not Many man.

Bright sun, no wind, ultimately Many (2x2x2x2x2x2 - [2x2]) degrees F. man.

Perfect weather for ES-ing, avail self of same we man.

Lunch was at our favorite Chinese buffet, ingest Many (2+1) heaping plates we man.

Got back after 2 p.m., return we in major need of siesta man.

Siesta'd for a blessed-yet-inadequate hour, deficient zzz we man.

Opened e-mail, read we man.

After a week of our inquiries, Uncle T-B. finally provided his grocery list, housebound senior he man.

We set forth, worst time of day & week to shop, egad man.

Intended to start at Aldi, then get rest of stuff at legacy supermarket man.

Changed mind en route because "we can get everything at one legacy place," reason we man.

Store was mobbed, induce headache to we man.

Store was out of cheapest of what Uncle T-B. wanted, higher prices man.

Couldn't readily find other stuff, not used to those aisles man.

We were exhausted with splitting headache, shoot us NOW man.

We went to self-checkout, bag stuff ourself in logical order man.

Inserted credit card for $Many, $Many more than usual man.

Machine wouldn't take card, never a problem before man.

Attendant tried everything to correct issue, unsuccessful he man.

Ended up canceling entire transaction, shoot us NOW man.

Attendant led us to open register, cashier & bagger man.

All Many (2+1) of them assiduously unbagged, rang, rebagged, actually quite proficient man.

Technology cannot substitute for human beans, our conclusion man.

Gained access to Uncle T-B.'s gate, ask we at office man.

Uncle T-B. looked disheveled, obviously hadn't showered man.

Unloaded his stuff, appreciative senior he man.

Tried to leave efficiently, Mini-B. starving and we exhausted man.

Uncle T-B. made us sit to eat a bowl of some kind of dumpling soup, culinary senior he man.

We ingested it to be polite, ruin our planned and delay Mini-B.'s din-din man.

Got back to casa just before sundown, hour late we man.

Mini-B. adamant about starvation, past regular din-din time for wee man man.

Din-din was soon prepared, air-fried Costco burgers man.

Mini-B. ingested a loaded burger, lettuce/tomato man.

We ingested an unloaded burger, ketchup-only man.

Mini-B. then ingested one of what we had just ingested, starving wee man.

Made a Two Guys agreement for a second Movie Night, agree Two Guys man.

Watched "AFV, Animal Edition," not like real thing but pleasant enough man.

Ingested only 2 bowls of Costco popcorn, overstuffed Two Guys man.

Embedded exhausted Mini-B. almost at regular time, wee man need zzz man.

Finished weekly book exactly on schedule, superb timing man.

Both children adorably asleep, zzz wee and zzz miu man.

Scintillating Sunday repartee, yawn man.

----

Thrilling Sunday report, see man:

Miu didn't object to same-as-yesterday's miu-breakfast today, small miracle man.

Took Mini-B. to semimonthly visit with Mama T-B., doting senior she man.

In less than a minute, Mama T-B. was yelling at us, irate senior she man.

In approx. 2 hours, see man:

-- visited 2 supermarkets, visit we man

-- wrangled stages of Many (2+1) laundry loads, Thread Laundress report man

-- ingested toucans of dented chicken noodle soup, spill all over ourself when opening man

-- made both beds, hate this man

-- retrieved Mini-B. without getting yelled at, major miracle man

Took Mini-B. to the skool park where little amigo was, tip from Ex-Mrs.-T-B. man.

Handed over supervision to ex-she man, we hand wee to ex-she man man.

Return to casa for laundry-wrangling and a siesta, latter badly needed man.

Left door unlocked for return of Mini-B., considerate we man.

Awakened by Ex-Mrs.-T-B., concerned she man.

Mini-B. had argument with little amigo, last one left to socialize with man.

After lengthy discussion, agreed to limit Mini-B.'s gaming, too much of that man.

Din-din for Mini-B. was S+M, standard getaway din-din for wee man man.

Din-din for us was the 2/Many'rds of the bagged salad, ingest before spoilage we man.

AFV watched, we and wee and ex-she man man.

"We're Two Guys" mantra recited, traditional man.

Mini-B. departed for the week, bye wee man.

As always, miu wondered what happened to Big Brudduh, explain we fruitlessly to miu man.
