Rant, grrrr man:

 

Maid is supposed to come tomorrow, Clean for Gene man.

The deal was $Many00 for our 2-years-of-no-cleaning initial visit, then $Many00 (half of original $Many00) each next visit, $i and $igh man.

This would be her first "next" visit, $i man.

 

On Monday when we texted her, she said, "I'll let you know early Wednesday what time whether I'm coming Thursday," promise she man.

She wrote at half-past 1 p.m., really "early" man.

 

We had asked her not to use the chemical that made us sick for 2 days, request we man.

She wrote, "Hi, good morning, I'll use softer ones, I'll charge you $Many00-&-a-half," $i man.

We replied that we would buy her something and pay $Many00 per our agreement, si man.

We asked her to tell us what to buy, and how many, for our job, si man.

 

She has not responded, no man.

We wrote back to remind her of our agreement ($Many00), si man, and to ask again, si man.

We told her that no one has used the jacuzzi or guest bathroom since her last visit, no man.

We told her that we didn't want her touching dishes, beds, or garbage, our jobs man.

We told her that we especially didn't want to be sick for 2 days from chemicals, no man.

And she has never confirmed a time to come, no man.

 

This maid was found, arranged for, and verbally contracted for by ex-Mrs.-T-B. on our behalf, si man.

If we get no answer today, we're going to fire her, back to ground zero man.

Advice (today) will be appreciated, si man.

Wednesday culinary report, see ingestations man:

 

Lunch was the remaining Many (2+2) hot dogs, ingest we before buns went stale man.

We struck upon the idea of nuking the buns briefly to soften them, seams won't split man.

"Briefly" = approximately Many seconds (in our instance, 2x2x2 +2+2+1 seconds) man.

 

Din-din was Hungry Man meatloaf frozen din-dins*, ingest Two Guys man.

    *serendipitously found at small-town H-E-B on return from our recent trip, fortuitous man

 

We like Hungry Man din-dins, Many reasons why man:

        1.  They are balanced, si man.

        2.  They are filling, si man.

Many.   They are easily nuked, si man.

Many.   Mini-B. likes them, surrender our brownie we man to wee man man.

Many.   They are relatively cheap, most important man.

 

Has anyone noticed that the plastic atop Banquet frozen din-dins continues to shred when torn loose, constant condition over Many Manycades man?

And has Banquet's parent company considered the consequent loss of business, huh man?

Semi-Rant, semi-grrr man:

Miu is again sound asleep on our office chair, zzz miu man.

Out of Many00 possible miu-sleep places, why must she always pick our office chair, huh man?

 

Had to meet disorganized person for product pickup, should have happened Wednesday man.

Had to race back to casa to meet maid, race we man.

Barely had time to procure Subway*, ingest we man.

     *WUOC, financially savvy we man

 

Maid didn't show up for another half-hour, needlessly ingest Subway in gulp fashion we man.

Maid came at noon, arrive she man.

Maid finished at half-past 2, beautiful job man.

Even off-cleaned a wooden buffet containing ex-Mrs.-T-B.'s dishes, didn't have to but did she man.

We now have another Many weeks during which to re-trash our casa, One Guy/Two Guys man.

 

Took long-belated siesta, nearly fell asleep at computer waiting on maid man.

Din-din was onecan of Aldi chili, ingest we man.

 

Attended come-&-go course-selection caucus at Mini-B.'s skool, attend we man.

Stayed for a full hour, schmooze with teechurs** and skool nurse we man.

    **one Many'th-grade science teechur is a rubia, schmooze thoroughly we man

Decided on a second necessary elective (oxymoron) for Mini-B., decide we man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. approved of this during drop-Mini-B. appearance, approve ex-she man.

 

Put tired Mini-B. to sleep after reading from our book, read Two Guys man.

 

Must urgently compile our GS/ES list, delinquent we man.

Momentous Friday ES report, see man:

 

We had itineraried 2 ESs and 2 MSs (moving-sales), itinerary we man.

However, the first ES (a family ES barely Many miles from the casa) changed everything, see man.

We found a bigger bed for Mini-B., fervent wish of wee man man.

 

All life stopped, halt we man.

Bed was Many% off, deal man.

Total for frame, brass head, and 2-pc. mattresses = ($Many00 - [2+2+2]), deal man.

 

Two guys agreed to disassemble it, deliver it to our casa, disassemble/take downstairs existing bed/stuff, carry new bed/stuff upstairs, and assemble new bed, wow man.

 

The charge for the above was 0, how touching and generous and in tune with our cheapness man.

We offered to give them something, but they both said, "Enjoy your new bed," how wonderful man.

Thrilling Friday report, see man:

 

Before buying bed, we ran it past ex-Mrs.-T-B. by phone, coparent ex-she man.

Ex-she man wondered whether it was old-lady or if anyone had died in it, Ecu superstitions  man.

We confirmed that the old lady had never slept in that one (guest bed) and died elsewhere,  man.

 

Mattresses felt absolutely great, old but lightly used man.

However, top one a bit stained amidst floral pattern, oh well man.

After self-debate, we went to a mattress store, tried out Many (2+1), and decided to replace top part, keep boxspring man.

Delivery will be Saturday late afternoon, confirm deliverers man.

We negotiated a discount and a free mattress-cover, financially savvy we man.

 

By now, it was half-past 2 p.m. and we hadn't had breakfast, no man.

Breakfast/lunch was onecan of beef stew, ingest we man.

 

After skool, an exhausted semi-sullen Mini-B. perked up right away, excited wee man.

Can't wait to sleep in new bed, must wait till delivery wee man man.

Would be satisfied with current mattresses but accepts new purchase, flexible wee man.

Is sleeping in our bed tonight, invited and not interloping for once wee man.

 

Din-din was Costco angusburgers, traditional Friday fare ingest Two Guys man.

 

Movie night was Iron Man Many (2+1), last in the series man.

Mini-B. liked this one best, whereas we liked Parts 2 and 1 better, diverge Two Guys man.

Many (2+2+1) bowls of Costco popcorn were consumed, ingest Two Guys man.

 

After din-din, Mini-B. helped us with a long-overdue project, necessary now man.

We reorganized the floor and one shelf of our linen closet, packed full man.

We found Many (2x2x2 + 1) twin-sheet sets, count we man.

We found Many (2+2+2) full-sheet sets, pulled from back of closet man.

We found Many (2x2x2 +1) queen-sheet sets, rediscovered 2 man.

In addition, we found a staggering number of hand-towels, bath towels, and warshcloths*, rediscover we man.

     *Texas spelling & pronunciation, both correct man

Maybe we will try to sell the warshcloths to ex-Mrs.-T-B., constantly tries to poach same ex-she man.

 

We want to sell bed, mattresses, sheets/cases, comforter, mattress cover, and new-in-package plastic protector as a set, optimal man.

If we list these on NextDoor, we dread the lowball offers, dread we man.

And we are not on Facebook Marketplace, no man.

We fear that the bed stuff will languish in our casa for a very long time, fear we man.

And we will NOT willingly donate it for free, NO man.

Alternatives are solicited, suggest to we man.

After yesterday's happy itinerarial truncation, we compiled a Saturday GS/MS/ES list, intrepid we man.

There was one GS, rained out man.

There were 2 MSs, one of which was phantom man.

There were Many (2+2) ESs, the first Many (2+1) of which were duds man.

 

The final ES yielded the take, see man:

Capable and congenial, si man.

Mini-B. now has a bigger bed with new sleep-mattress, highly pleased wee man.
