Friday out-of-town ES report, see man:

 

We itineraried Many (2+2+1) ESs, hopeful we man.

All Many (2+2+1) were absolute duds, sigh man.

Not even anything worth handling and inspecting briefly, sigh man.

That goes for the first, second, Many'rd, Many'th, and Many'th ES, to be specific man.

At least the T-B.-mobile won't be weighed down by anything extra, oh well man.

Thrilling Friday non-ES report, see man:

 

Breakfast was (again) 2 platefuls of hotel (powdered?) eggs and sausage links, ingest we man.

Lunch was skipped, by design man.

Attempted nap thwarted by chemical solution used by hotel maid, stink stank stunk man.

 

Din-din was a huge fish-&-cheaps platter, ingest we man.

There were Many (2+1) pieces of fried cod, ingest we man.

They were atop, & surrounded by, Many high-quality French fries, major food group man.

Price after tax/before tip was $Many ($2x2x2x2), not bad for hotel restaurant with captive audience man.

 

We finish our business by half-past Many or by Many o'clock Saturday afternoon, then return to casa we man.

Don't know which extra rubias we'll have to leave behind, recruited too many man.

Might just tie a few to the back bumper, probably simplest man.

Thrilling Saturday report, see man: 

 

Breakfast was Many (2+1) plates of hotel breakfast buffet, ingest we man.

Finished business and returned to casa, sojourn we man.

 

Stopped halfway, nice small town man.

Din-din was a buffet at a big local restaurant, si man.

We consumed Many (2+1) heaping plates, ingest we man.

Then got Mini-B.'s groceries for Two Guys week, pending man.

 

Was greeted at casa by indignant -- no man, outraged -- miu, indignant outraged miu man.

Mollified miu, food/treats/thorough brushing man.

Half of miu came out in the brush, miu-sitter does it too lightly man.

Unpacked, not much more than when we'd left the casa, lousy ESs man.

More than ready to zzz, but not yet man.

Will have a brushing/play round with miu, sure as shootin' man.

Awoke groggily before alarm because of expect-breakfasting miu, grrrr man.

Serviced miu, demanding-all-day miu man.

 

Groggy all day, needed zzz we man.

Lunch was Many pieces of honey-wheat bread, ingest we man.

 

Exited casa on one errand, errant we man.

Tried hourlong siesta, awakened before alarm by demanding miu, grrrr man.

 

Din-din was onecan of beef stew, ingest we man.

 

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. had to retrieve the Rojo at the airport, enslaved ex-she man.

Cousin Mini-B. brought Mini-B., Many (2+1) Guys man.

Watched AFV, good rerun man.

Mini-B. ravenously hungry, why does ex-Mrs.-T-B. appear to starve him on drop-off days man?

Still groggy, groggy we man.

Lunch was onecan of dollar-store chili, actually pretty good man.

Siesta helped, zzz we man.

 

Din-din was Hungry Man boneless chicken din-dins, ingest Two Guys man.

Movie night = Iron Man, excellent man.

Many (2+2+2+1) bowls of Costco popcorn were consumed, ingest Two Guys man.

 

Mini-B. doing nighttime reading in bed himself for first time ever, One Guy man.  

Little boy is growing up, si and see and sigh man.

Good news, see man:

Mini-B. finished his book and called for us to read our book together, nightly streak continues man.  

 

Bad news, see man:

Terrible storms here with rain, tornado watches/warnings, and trop-storm-force winds, egad man.

Supposed to be just moving out by skool pickup, hope we man.

Local TV weatherpeople doing a fantastic job while multitasking, real professionals man.

We are a bit south of the most major of the mess, fingers crossed man.

Miu is unperturbed and sound asleep on Mini-B.'s bed, zzz miu man.

We shall try to siesta now, zzz we man.

Lunch was onecan of beef stew, ingest we man.

 

Storm pretty intense (wind, rain, lightning, thunder) during attempted nap, loud man.

Rain has mostly stopped, but windy enough that we saw large birds flying backwards, observe we man.

Cold, too, sometimes Texas weather not Many man.

 

Two lagoons in back yard but no casa or fence damage, inspect we man.

 

Attempted nap destroyed by Many (2+1) calls each -- si man, Many (2+1) calls each -- from a respectively aysheep Mama T-B. and ex-Mrs.-T-B., repeatedly call we senior she and ex-she man.

No dangerous storms here, but we are under a winter storm warning. Rained all morning, and now it is snowing quite a bit, for here at least. Hope your nasty weather clears soon!

Glad that cleared up in time!

 

Not been very cold the last few weeks. I had frozen pipes Christmas week, and a break where the water comes into the house on Christmas day.  The preacher over the road shut the water off at the street for me. He came back the next day and made repairs. Wouldn't even let me pay for the parts. Turns out the heat tape on the pipes was dead. The indicator light was on, but nothing else.

 

So I spent most of yesterday afternoon out there under the house putting on new tape. So far, so good!

It was raining so hard for a while there that I couldn't see much past the end of the driveway, let alone down the street.  The power did some funny dips all day - the UPS on the desktop computer kept kicking in to regulate things and not fry the computer.  

 

A friend in a subdivision nearby said lightning struck across the street.  Fire services were on the street checking it out in under 10 minutes.  Sounds like no homes were a direct hit but his alarm system and a light bulb ended up fried from the bolt.  Just scary, none the less.
