Thrilling Tuesday report, see man:

 

Was awakened before alarm by seek-breakfasting miu, Feed Me Now Daddy man.

Was trying to self-caffeinate when Mama T-B. called, phone senior she man we man.

"Why didn't you call me to tell me when you're coming*, huh man?  I need to plan my day, si man!" quoth senior she man.

      *we had suggested on Monday that we would handle some errands, background man

We groggily suggested "in about an hour, zzz... er, si man," and actually achieved that, mirabile dictu man.

 

Mama T-B. tensely lectured us for Many (2x2x2x2 +2+2) minutes -- si man, Many (2x2x2x2 +2+2) minutes -- with instructions for two simple errands, :girlwerewolf2xn: man.

 

We made a return at Walmart and got a couple of items, fulfill instructions we man.

We gassed the Mama-T-B.-mobile, fulfill instructions we man.

We also warshed the Mama-T-B.-mobile "on the house," filthy man.

Finished errands in Many (2x2x2x2x2 + 2x2x2x2) minutes, instructions one-Many'rd as long as errands man.

Mama T-B. suspicious, but we brought all receipts, scrutinize they and finally satisfied senior she man.

 

As payoff, Mama T-B. sent us to lunchroom of indie-living facility for take-casa lunch, indirectly feed we senior she man.

Lunch was meat loaf, mashed potatoes, peas, salad, strawberry shortcake, ingest we man.

Napped for an hour afterward, zzz we man.

 

Completed most items on our own to-do list, productive we man.

Wrapped outside faucets, Many-degree-or-lower temperatures forecast man.

 

Din-din was the remaining bagged salad from last week, ingest we man.

Currently snacking on Chex Mix with infernal pretzels included, rant we man.

Rubias anticipated soon for yet more uninhibited debauchery, cavort we man.

Fed miu a Fancy Feast Petites (beef), ingest miu man.

Took some of Mini-B.'s clothes to repurchase/resale shop, entrepreneurial Business Typhoon we man.

They gave us $Many ($2x2x2), financially savvy man.

On way back, got toucans + toucans of Aldi chili, prepare for cold weather we man.

 

Fed miu treats, insistent miu man.

Lunch was onecan of beef stew, ingest we man.

Fed miu yet another Fancy Feast Petites (beef), ingest miu man.

 

Cousin Mini-B. requested up-picking from job*, accommodate we man.

    *ex-Mrs.-T-B., the Rojo, and respective progeny out of town, expensive ex-she man

He further requested transport to faraway repair shop to pick up the CM-Bmobile, in shop a long time man.

This was in peak traffic, egad man.

Repair bill was only $Many, pleasant surprise man.

 

Solo return trip hampered by even peaker traffic, egad man.

We stopped at favorite Chinese buffet, let traffic diminish we man.

Din-din was Many (2+1) plates of enough beef/chicken to approximate final bill, financially savvy we man.

Young Chinese waitress was there, greet we she man.

We still don't know what she looks like, eternally masked she man.

She's too skinny and probably too young for us, and certainly not a rubia, si and no man.

 

She gave us Many (2+1) fortune-cookies, ingest we man.

The first said, "You will soon meet a voluptuous, eligible rubia," si man.

The second said, "You will not soon meet a voluptuous, eligible rubia," no man.

Herself and I are camping at the moment. Pipes froze yesterday afternoon, in spite of my best efforts to avoid it.  Meant to warm up to at least freezing by Saturday, so I intend to wait it out. Too cold to go out there and fiddle with it. I took all the precautionary measures, and have had all new pipes installed last year, and insulated them, but still. Was minus twenty when I went to be last night, and  the present feels like is minus six. So...yah nah. Happens every year here in a cold snap, and I always have plenty of bottled water. It was five years ago on Wednesday that we landed up here, and had frozen pipes for New Years :D

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. wheedled us into taking Mini-B. at Many (2+2) p.m. through Sat. morn, Two Guys man.

Ex-she man having overnight chica party/yak-fest somewhere nearby, yak yak yak yak YAK ex-she man.

Ex-she man will retrieve Mini-B. by mid-morn Sat., allege ex-she man.

We are taking bets on how hung over she will be, know we man ex-she man.

Went to Lowe's Casa Improvement to buy desk-fan for Mini-B., uses it to off-cool corn dogs wee man.

Mini-B. relished his breakfast of corn dogs as cooled by his new corn-dog fan, ingest wee man.

Miu relished miu-breakfast of Fancy Feast Petites ocean whitefish, ingest miu man.

 

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. eventually retrieved Mini-B., retrieve ex-she man wee man.

We had Many (2+1) minor errands and accomplished 2 of them, not bad man.

 

Lunch was toucans of Chef B. Beefaroni, ingest we man.

Nice nap of >1 hour, zzz we man.

I'm going to have to admit I am a BAD parent (and grandparent), but a wonderful son.

 

This year because of a last minute (well, last weekend) decision, we decided to blow off my kids and grand kids for Christmas and head out of town to spend the holiday in the Keys, and took my elderly mother with us.  The elder mother will be 90 years old in 5 months.  She still has her mind, and gets around pretty well so we asked her if she wanted to go to the Keys with us.  She was more than happy to go and get out of her retirement facility or "old folks home" as I call it.  Did not invite my kids and their little ones.  Didn't need that headache.  Monday on the way home will swing by my stepdaughter's house and see the devil children.

 

Turns out it was a good decision to come down as it is many (2x2x2x2) degrees warmer here.  Even at that we just finally gave in and turned the heat on as it had gotten down to 68 degrees in the house.  Unbearable.

 

One downside,  mom is driving me nuts.... but I am trying.
