Removal of Conditions Application (I-751) not delivered on time by USPS

Hello:

I sent my Removal of Conditions Application on January 19th, 17 days before the last day of the 90 day window that the USCIS gives us to send it, and the USPS tracking says "In Transit, Arriving Late. Your package will arrive later than expected, but is still on its way. It is currently in transit to the next facility". There's also an alert that says "USPS IS EXPERIENCING UNPRECEDENTED VOLUME INCREASES AND LIMITED EMPLOYEE AVAILABILITY DUE TO THE IMPACTS OF COVID-19". Today is the last day of my 90 days period.

My question is: if my application effectively arrives after the 90 days period am I getting in trouble? even though USPS is delayed? Is it possible that it has been delivered but the USPS tracking was not?

I decided to send my application in January because I wanted to avoid the Christmas season mail over saturation, so yes, I still should have done it earlier.

The application window opens 90 days prior.  Once open, the application window never closes.
