Shouldn't be if everything was accepted and they request the fingerprints and passport.

Totally normal for long AP after an interview in Morocco even before the covid crisis to do additional security checks

and if he asks for his passport so he can travel,  it will only extend the AP time to check the places he traveled to

At this  point you are waiting for the embassy to say "do a new medical exam"  then, and only then will you know they intend to approve your petition and issue a visa

He will if the last one is over 6 months old when they finally approve his visa

as the visa expires 6 months from the day of the medical

Doesn't matter that he never traveled / they hold the passport because they don't want him to at this point

If he did the 2nd medical in August or September ,  it is already over 6 months old and a new one will be needed

so sorry they did that to the 2 of you and didn't follow thru on their end as even though the country closed down during the summer times,  USC's and spouses were allowed to fly out

Are you sure the embassy got the results of the 2nd medical exam?

flood the embassy with emails and i mean every day send one

Yes I am sure about the 2nd medical exam because he gave it to them in person on the same day they took his fingerprints.
