Will USCIS website update info if they send me bio appointment letter?

I applied AOS in May. They sent our case to CSC in 6th, June. In several days later, we got a mail about it from USCIS. That's the first and only mail we got from them. We don't have NOA 1, hope it's ok. And in about 2 months after we applied, still they didn't send us Bio appointment letter, is it something wrong? If they send us the Bio appointment letter, will they update USCIS website? Normally I saw people could get their Bio appointment letter in 1 month after they applied. Thanks for your time.

They won't update your case online to show Biometrics. How are you checking your case status if you don't have NOA 1?

there is no mail notification for biometrics, only snail mail. don't bother to call them for biometrics.

Because from my own experience in general, the service line can only provide you with the information you can see online anyway.

I did read that, sorry! Sometimes Bio appointments can take a while to issue because your Local Office is busy/backed up. I would call USCIS and ask them about it. If they don't give you any concrete answers- make an Infopass appointment.
