  Are we segueing already? It's only the second post. 

 

  Seemed like an ignorant thing to say (by Mori). I expect it from some, I guess, but my hope would be someone with a wife, daughter and granddaughter would have learned to be a little more respectful of women by this point in their life.

There's also a lot of studies out there that show in formal settings like board meetings, men speak more and for longer. This guy's just a sexist who doesn't want to listen to women. He should own that.

  After reading his wife's response, I don't think that is going to happen. He has a long history of saying stupid things. He resigned as prime minister years ago with a single digit approval rating. I mean that's hard to do even if you are intentionally trying to make everyone dislike you. 

 

   Even though Moro won't change, I think the more general issue is that the behavior we tolerate is also behavior we tacitly approve. They would have booted the guy out of office once if he didn't resign. They gave him another chance, and same result. He's probably done now. How he goes out is up to him.

    My wife says yes, because usually the man is lost in the forest, going around in circles and refuses to look at the map or ask for directions to find his way out.
