Seriously, does anyone think this is going to sway centrist views? Republicans have moved from the party of no, to nonsense. If they want to remain relevant they need to come up with solutions.

Some people I know still in the Marines and some guys at the gym are pretty worried about his crackdown on extremist views in the military. As ya'll know I live near a base so I talk to alot of soldiers everyday at work and out of work.

No, but with the way things are going they don't know what will happen. It is a bit vague in regards to what they are looking for

Would they pop over to DC, charge into the Capitol, kill a Capitol guard, defecate and urinate in the Capitol halls, scream for the VP and Speaker to be executed while disrupting the work of Congress forcing congress and staff to fear for their lives or hold fellowship with those that do?

 

Because just one of those activities or association with someone who is plotting would be a violation of their oath.

Yes, the cancel culture is snowballing.  I think the military should look to find extremist, but I agree, it could end up with some unintended consequences.  Too bad when Nidal Hasan was spewing his rhetoric they, the military, did not notice.

  The military tackling extremism in the ranks does not actually fall under the umbrella of "cancel culture".
