Physical addresses and employment outside the USA

Hi everyone,

 

I hope someone can help me with this as I have been struggling to find answers. Currently, I am filling up form I -130a Supplemental Information for Spouse Beneficiary. In the address and employment history part, it is asking for such for the past 5 years. In the next parts, it says to list down the last address outside the United States of more than 1 year. For everyone's information, I was born and raised in the Philippines. Then in 2015, I transferred here in Canada and is a Canadian citizen. I listed down my address here in Canada since I was asked about it for the past 5 years. I am wondering tho is I should type in my address in the Philippines as well on the next part since it is asking my address outside the United States where I stayed for over a year. Also with the employment history, I worked as a nurse in the Philippines until 2015. Should I write it down as well?

just ur address in the last 5 years. so roughly your job and ur address from February 2016 onwards

when it comes to the NVC part, you will likely have to include your full address history back to 16 or 18 years old.

thank you for the response. So for now, just include my address here in Canada since 2016 and just leave my address back in the Philippines even on the second part of the address history?

Yes, that sounds correct,  provide the data they ask for.

Interpret the questions literally.  Your last address outside the US for more than a year, will be whatever it is, probably an address in Canada.  If you've been in Canada more than 5 years, you will not put any Philippines address.  Canada is "outside the USA".
