There is a question in the Affidavit (as part of NORI application) that asks for:

"The Exchange programme was sponsored by the Government of /Agencies of the Government of ____________________ and financed by the Government of / Agencies of the Government of _____________________ ."

I am here as a part of the SEVIS student exchange program. My concern is the finance. I have not received any grants from Universities nor have I received scholarships like FullBright. I have received my paychecks from the Universities I have worked in.

How should I fill this section?

Thanking you.

I think your J1 should have that information.

If you had a full scholarship tuition and fellowship (the paychecks from your university are a fellowship, even if you had to so some RA or TA work), then then your university should go there. That said, I'd look at the J1, there is usually information about it there.
