Domestic, but I sense there is a market for some folks to buy imported, maybe I will buy some a slap a made in the UK sticker and sell them on Amazon, how much would you pay?

Nothing unless the ingredients include Novamin, which is unfortunately not available in the US brand. I used to buy it in Canada but we haven't been for a while and I did not foresee the need to stock up. I can get the UK brand online, but the price has been crazy at times, and people who think the USPS has gone down just wait till you see Royal mail nowadays.

I was curious if any of the import stores have it. Sometimes they do get things like that if people request it, and the markup is not usually as bad as the online markets.

Is the Sensodyne from the USA or UK? Just wondering since I import mine.

American. I did not know there was a difference with the UK version. Alex had never used it before because neither of us had particularly sensitive teeth, but he's had some dental issues since he moved to the US. Last year one basically crumbled away and last month there was a mystery agony of a toothache that upon examination at the dentist's last week showed nothing, no cavity, just a little inflammation. So my mom has taken the opportunity to start berating us for not using Sensodyne because we are "getting older" (Al is 36 next week, okay mom), we've fallen down on flossing and while we both have Water Piks (and I use mine) Alex tends to treat his as a piece of decorative bathroom art.

If it is decorative art, I wonder if we should consider the politics of the people who make the parts (USA) and assemble the product (China).

The brand sold in the US has potassium nitrate which is good for desensitizing exposed nerve roots. Novamin in the UK brand (and other countries) was originally a product for regenerating bone after injuries, so it's good, in some people anyway, for remineralizing. For me it stops hot/cold sensitivity really well. The US brand doesn't do anything for me, but I tried the Canadian brand and it was great.

Apparently toothpaste is regulated as a drug in the US and as a cosmetic product in other countries, so thus far GSK hasn't put the money and resources into getting approval in the US.

So as not to derail the topic further, I did a quick Google search and nothing turns up about Kamala Harris and Sensodyne.
